🚨 BREAKING: Former DUP leader Jeffrey Donaldson has been brought from Maghaberry Prison to court

🎤Chief Reporter @jamesgould23 will be inside court for us today.

The sentencing process is due to begin today.

Donaldson was convicted of child sex abuse offences earlier this year, convictions he is seeking to appeal.

At today’s pre-sentence hearing, the prosecution and defence are expected to make submissions on aggravating and mitigating factors.

The judge will also consider other material, including victim impact statements, before deciding the appropriate sentence.

While the process begins today, the actual sentence won’t be handed down until next month.
