@pwafork More worrying - what will happen to the massive lithium batteries in electric cars when they need to be disposed of? Hybrids have no storage and don’t need lithium batteries. Much more sensible and consistent with reduction of use of fossil fuels.
@latingle@abc730 @BrendanCrabb @nadahamad @RDNS_TAI An excellent show. I hope that Paul Kelly can be replaced by someone who accepts that COVID is exceptional and we should be preventing transmission. The public messaging from Albanese downwards is reprehensible.
@healthb4profits@DanielAndrewsMP People speed despite the speed limits - should we abandon this rule as well? This is an excellent program about the dangers of the current State and Federal government messaging: https://t.co/g414rlG3c6
@gemcarey Almost no one. In the past 3 weeks, 5 people in my immediate circle - all over 70 - have caught COVID for the first time and have no idea where they got it. The current plan is for everyone over 65 to just isolate for ever so that everyone else can 'get on with life'.
@Mooby_Doo@JohnRuddick2 Our lockdowns did not weld the doors shut on properties. The word 'lockdown' should not be used to describe the very different versions in Australia from China and Italy where people were not allowed to set foot out of their homes for weeks.
@Robin18601078@mjrowland68@theheraldsun@theage We now have political advertising banned, but the Murdoch press and TV channels are able to continue to run the Anti-Dan narrative ad nauseam.
