@guyfelicella Great work, Guy. I wouldn’t go there either 😞 I’m pleased that there is interest in the important work you do and that they’ve made your attendance happen. Good on them 🙏
8 mths ago, the art of my friend Bridget Kelly - who has Down Syndrome - was displayed at Vivid. Her dearest wish, she said, was to make it to the sails of Opera House.
Last night, it was!
Congats, Bridget.

When she tapped her chest and gave that side smirk to her son, I cringed so hard I almost walked out of the theater. This cannot be the masterpiece you all hyped
@Peter_Fitz Fabulous! We have Bridget’s artwork in our home. Always attracts enthusiastic comments. A superb Australian artist! Congratulations Bridget 🥳
@KDeBeck I heard this interview. Excellent overview of the tragic situation in Vancouver. I visited DTES as part of my @ChurchillTrust tour last August. Will never forget the human tragedy. Keep up the important work of truth telling.
Dear Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde. You tried to tell Donald Trump to be kind but he has a dark heart. As you see by his response he will never change. But you reached millions of others hearts like mine and inspired hope. Your new fan James Tate. ❤️

Britain's first official Overdose Prevention Centre opens in Glasgow this morning. I am grateful to everyone who has worked for many years to realise this.
5 years ago, I volunteered with @PeteKrykant_OPC to start the UK's first unofficial overdose prevention pilot.
I said at the time, "At a street level, if it saves one person from contracting HIV or dying from an overdose, then it will have been worthwhile."
We supervised 894 injections, reversed 9 overdoses, and saved 8 lives.
Whilst it is not a universal remedy for Scotland’s drug death emergency, it will save lives and it will be a place where extremely marginalised people can get the help they need.
I wish the team every success.
Here’s my final report - video & written summary - published by the Churchill Trust. 30 short interviews from my 8-week international tour “to learn how drug-impacted communities engage govts to save lives using health-based solutions “. @ChurchillTrust

Got a lot of insults tossed my way these past few days because I shared my opinion about the fluffy interview @PierrePoilievre did with @Jordanbpeterson.⚡️Newsflash: in Canada we’re allowed to have an opinion and to share it.
The most telling thing is the number of PP fans who tell me things like I’m “the constant proof of the long-term damage of opioid abuse. You are the fried egg brain.” And similar insults.
This is apparently the party that advocates for "people to get off drugs and become a productive member of society." Which is exactly what I've been doing for 12 years now. I have employment helping others get into recovery, I obey laws, pay taxes, help others … do the things they say they want to see. But because I don't agree with their politics they call me stupid, brain-damaged and a drug enabler — all of which are false.
They say they support recovery but do they? Doesn't seem like it. Is this the kind of classy behavior we can expect from a Conservative government and their followers?
Kinda makes you think, doesn’t it? 🤔

As the official safer drug consumption room prepares to open in Glasgow, I'm both overjoyed & excited people will finally have a place out the cold Glasgow winter.
Someday, I'd love to visit, here are are some highlights from others around the world I've seen.
The Liberal National parties and the Australian Labor Party in unofficial bipartisanship have facilitated the ‘plunder’ of our country’s natural resources by inadequate taxation on commodity exports. Sure we get mining industry jobs and some royalties but an audit shows effectively we have given our most valuable resources away. 👇
@tonyduffin Thanks for the update Tony- and Ana Liffey Drug Project’s leadership in SIF’s history. Looking forward to hearing more about the opening at MQ.
