Marc Garneau was my role model, mentor, 30-plus year close friend and a brave and exemplary Canadian for us all. My heart goes out to his family. The world has lost a very good man.
My 36 year old biological clock and I just donated to @brucefanjoy -
Thanks @PierrePoilievre - I don't normally donate to other ridings but for your PR yesterday, I'll make an exception.

Thank you, Canada — for trusting in me, for challenging me, and for granting me the privilege to serve the best country, and the best people, on earth.

Did you know indie bookstores sell a much higher proportion of Canadian authors than Indigo or American-owned Amazon? In fact, most Canadian indies have an option to filter by Canadian authors. We currently have over 730 titles by Canadian authors in-store at The Spaniel's Tale.
On this day in 1986, Canadian author Robert Munsch released his book Love You Forever.
One of the most successful children's books ever written, it is beloved by generations of Canadians and others worldwide.
Let's learn more about it (and try not to cry)!

Stop. 5k on women's clothing and if "high end" will get you very few pieces, so stop blaming women for needing to look acceptable to men/society. I hate it here.
SCOOP: Bonnie Crombie is raising eyebrows for expensing more than $5K at high-end clothing stores during the Liberal leadership race. Plus everything else the candidates made it rain for #onpoli https://t.co/6BlTktkcei

On Saturday, my wife Ginny and I met with Dhanushka Wikramasinghe, the Barrhaven resident who lost his wife and four children in the terrible tragedy in March. I was not planning to talk publicly about this meeting but after we spoke Mr. Wikramasinghe and I decided there was a message we wanted to share.
As a husband and father, I’m heartbroken for Mr. Wikramasinghe and his family. He has lost everything. But despite his incredible grief and loss, his message of hope and gratitude were deeply moving and inspiring to Ginny and me.
Mr. Wikramasinghe wanted to express his gratitude to the people of Ottawa and especially the police officers, paramedics, and hospital workers who have supported him and his family during these difficult weeks.
He is a very kind, generous, gentle, and inspiring man. Despite the enormous tragedy he has experienced, he is committed to serving his community. He wants to volunteer to help young people. He wants to stay in Ottawa and contribute to our community. I found that very touching and admirable, and frankly, awe-inspiring.
I promised that our community would continue to support him in the months and years ahead. We must continue to put our arms around Mr. Wikramasinghe and his family.
Ontario Liberals have elected @BonnieCrombie as their new Leader. In 2026, we’ll be ready to take her progressive and compassionate vision for Ontario to voters and kick Doug Ford and his insiders out.
