Please don't assume people who exercise regularly do it only to look a certain way. For most, this wouldn't come close to being enough of an incentive. I hope you'll one day experience the whole-life enhancing benefits of exercise too, so you can really understand our "why".

For me it's kind of the reverse - exercising makes me more mindful of what I eat, then I eat better so I can exercise better (although far from "perfect"). There was a time I'd workout as penance for food, but when my mindset around that changed, good things happened to my body.
