Students had a great time collaborating today to complete an animal sort. Students had to decide if they would sort the animals by movement or coverings! They did an amazing job!

In honor of computer science week and the hour of code, Mrs. Grant came in to teach a blue bot lesson! The students had a blast learning how to use the blue bots and relating it to ordinal numbers in math! Thanks so much Mrs. Grant!!

Today was an exciting day in 1st grade! Mr. Tuck visited to teach students how to catch a turkey! Students then completed a "how-to" writing to tell the steps for catching a turkey! Thank you Mr. Tuck!
