The driver got two years. The carrier got a new DOT number.
A Ukrainian trucker's conviction closes the criminal file on the Thomasville crash. The company that put him on the road tells a longer story that killed seven Marines in New Hampshire and another in Alabama, where ten kids were burned alive.

Tim Kelly (no relation thankfully) is arguably Trump’s worst district court judicial pick. His wife was a top official for DC Mayor Bowser when this trial was underway. He sentenced Enrique Tarrio to 22 years in prison like he was a serial killer.
Judge Graf says he's taking until September to decide if there's PC for the charges against Tyler Robinson
🤡🤡🤡
I know a lot of y'all love Graf
I don't think he's a very good judge
He doesn't run an efficient court & he makes things more painful to the Charlie Kirk family
🚨 The Fifth Circuit has vacated, sua sponte, a panel's ruling requiring bond hearings for certain longtime undocumented immigrants held under the federal mandatory-detention statute. The matter will be reheard before the full bench.
The Owner of the Largest Minnesota ‘Learing Center’ just PLEAD GUILTY to Daycare and COVID fraud.

Thinking more about this. Is the chief judge of the 3rd circuit at all concerned about the integrity of his court when it appears at least one judge and other unknown “sources” not only peered at Bove’s phone but tattled to the NYT about it? (The chief judge is
Michael A. Chagares, a GWB appointee SHOCKER!) Pretty lowlife behavior by at least one federal judge.
It's remarkable that a politician whose leadership has coincided with so much suffering, and who has failed at the basic responsibility of making Illinois safer, continues to receive so much support.
I pray Illinois voters can overcome the money, ballot operations, and political machine, and reject leadership that has proven so shallow and ineffective.
For Katie's and others like her, @Giannoulias, do the right thing. Course-correct your CDL/DL credentialing policies before more innocent lives are lost.
Turning back to recently released emails by Sen. Grassley related to Special Counsel Jack Smith's mishandling of classified material.
Keep in mind--Judge Cannon, overseeing the classified docs case in Florida, finally forced Jay Bratt to admit he had misled the court when he stated all the items seized during the Mar a Lago raid were in their original condition and sequence.
Smith's team used every trick in the book to delay the production of classified files to the president, his co-defendants, and their lawyers. First--pursuant to federal rules--all the defendants and lawyers needed to obtain security clearances. By the Biden administration. A few lawyers complained about footdragging in the process.
The original SCIF--where classified material is viewed--operated out of DC to make it more difficult for Florida based co-defendants (including the president) and lawyers to view the files. Cannon ordered the SCIF moved to Florida; Smith's team set it up in Miami, a good two-hour drive (on a good day) from Palm Beach. (Also important to emphasize again that DOJ then Smith conducted the entire investigation in Trump-hating DC courthouse rather than southern Florida.)
This email appears to suggest Smith's prosecutors were upset that the CISO (Dan)--classified information security officer, who is intermediary for both sides--gave access to an individual (probably an attorney) on the defense side without letting the special counsel's office veto his decision.
Judge Cannon routinely busted Smith's team for misrepresenting the huge amount of discovery in the case, including massive amounts of (alleged) classified material. Keep in mind--this is happening at the same time Jack Smith was pushing for a pre-election trial date. Here is just one example of Cannon calling out Smith's chicanery related to discovery...
Well we officially know who's getting bought off already. Didn't your family rip off a bank, Broadway Bank when you were the Senior Loan Officer @ILSecOfState? Didn't the bank get seized by the @FDICgov?
Asking for a friend. #Chicago

Bekhzod Asrarov deserves attention, yes. He's the one who killed Toby. But everyone gets so laser-focused and stuck on one driver, and next week it will be another. And the next week, another driver.
Until we realize how important it is that we go after the company owners and often, the network of companies, this will keep happening over and over and over.
Sure, it may require overseas transactions, but PLEASE GO AFTER THE COMPANIES!!!!!
This week, as the preliminary hearing rolls on and we're all forced to relive his tragic murder, I find myself wanting to remember Charlie's incredible life. Our team put this CK tribute together, and they did a great job. I hope you'll watch it.
NEW: Jack Smith’s team mishandled classified material in his investigation against President Trump for allegedly taking classified materials. Can’t make it up—just add this to the long list of misconduct and malfeasance by Special Counsel’s office:
Death count rises as illegals and noncitizens obtain state-issued licenses to drive 80,000-pound trucks. Latest string of fatalities has the attention of the public and the administration. Is enough being done to get these drivers off the road? https://t.co/881xxuyFru
Tom Homan recently identified more fatalities and disclosed that roughly 20,000 non domiciled CDLs have been revoked in the past few months. But an estimated 200,000 licenses are active across the country. State officials sound bare minimum to keep federal funding…
Ten states are largely responsible for the illegal alien truck driver epidemic and should be held accountable
