@jennyrozelle Torango Zoo. You take a ferry so get your harbor cruise along the way. Beautiful view of the city even at the Zoo. Lots of animals to see. And they have a Koala Encounter! https://t.co/EKtpjw7Ky0
@jennyrozelle Hot air balloon ride and champagne breakfast in Hunter Valley! So amazing! Plus our pilot was a 3 time Women’s World Champion. https://t.co/R0xouUfAog
@EWess92@Webster_1822 Did you even read the opinion you posted? Delay was caused solely by Hoskins and Hanaway waiting from Dec until the last hour on Aug 4 to say the petition was insufficient. This is all on them.
@AGCHanaway Not even close to what it says. So everyone can read for themselves, here is the court’s opinion: https://t.co/75SwOh5qPG
And as noted, the timing is your and Hoskins fault for taking from Dec until Aug 4 to declare the petition insufficient.
@StephenFleming Kids are starting to make that decision! Ours got in WashU and UC Davis. He laughed at WashU letter saying don’t ask us for money and chose CU Boulder that he calculated is $280k cheaper! Now he’s excelling in Mech Eng, and having a great time!
@T_Gatzemeier Recently learned that the “advisor” (Hill & Mitchell) for my 85 year old mom had her IRA invested 100% in a negative Morningstar, Class A, 1% US Large Cap fund, while her statement said she’s investing for “Growth & Income”.
@Andy@FeedingAmerica@girlsclubny@FoodBank4NYC Thank you for letting people know and raising funds to feed kids. My friend started Kirkwood (Missouri) NOW - Nutrition on the Weekends - that provides food to families to help kids get from Friday to Monday. https://t.co/nuN0X5TJe9
@SenatorHeinrich Thank you for all you do in the Senate, and for this wonderful memory and message today!
My grandpa was a lineman then managed the office in Cole Camp, and my grandma was a 1st grade teacher. I still hold close the values they taught me - work hard, take care of others.
@mike_mo21@TKopelman Former TIAA advisor here. My team and I manage accounts on their platform from the outside (Moneta). We have a really good team at TIAA who helps us. Still aren’t perfect but at least we have a person to call. Reach out to their outside advisor network to get connected.
@TheNextSummitA1 Always B. Get down quickly. We were near a strike at Winter Park when mountain biking. Thankfully for us and about 20 others the snow making building was open so we took shelter. Our son was 6 at the time so he learned early to respect nature.
@NWischoff Think simple ideas, easy to execute, easy for them to remember. I had numbered candles growing up, did same for my son. You save them so the 1 gets reused starting at 10. We always hang a banner in the kitchen for birthdays. For parties, you invite their friends = their new age.
@ChiefExecBear Thank you for speaking out! I was thinking the same thing today about the impact on other businesses, especially mid and small companies. So many still impacted.
@TKopelman Agreed, although there are many, like me, who’ve been in the trenches with clients for 20+ years and my current firm for 40+years. My concern now is influence of private equity profit pressures on those who aren’t truly “independent“ anymore.
@LoganGrafTax Do you work with your clients’ advisors? After Tax Day, we are going to reach out to our clients’ tax teams to work together on the Roth conversion message to our mutual clients.
@BillKinneyCPA Ask in your local Facebook group. Maybe a town group, school district group, or swap and sell (read the rules). Moms especially talk and share. Or find a recruiter who specializes in placing such candidates. It’s how I’ve added to my team. Good luck, they are out there!
@mountainwesttax First, so sorry!
I still go here for tax/financial news. In process of moving to Bluesky. I so wish others would so I could abandon twitter for good.
@KathyJones Thank you for listening so we don't have to!
Also, has your team thought of moving to or also sharing on Bluesky? I only come to twitter for your team’s updates, and would so like to avoid it completely.
