Ik denk dat het een prima middel is om een amusant filmavondje in te vullen, maar niet voor zo'n lijst. Het vertelt je alleen iets over de specifieke categorie "films die veel IMDb-gebruikers vrijwillig gezien hebben".

@talithamuusse @michiellieuwma Metacritic baseert zich wel op cijfers van critici, maar ja, als die bijvoorbeeld John Wick 4 en 9/10 geven betekent dat gewoon dat ze het een uitstekende film in z'n genre vinden. Niet dat ze hem even goed vinden als The Godfather.

@talithamuusse @michiellieuwma Het lijstje slaat wel ergens op, het zijn gewoon statistieken, maar niet de statistieken die je nodig hebt voor een toplijst. RottenTomatoes is een binair systeem, Fresh of Rotten. Dus een film die iedereen een 6/10 geeft krijgt 100%. IMDb is een grap.

We need to heavily shame and stigmatize using AI for personal writing: texts, eulogies, essays, twitter posts. Letting a machine steal your words is a dangerous habit, that over time will rob you of being able to write or think at all. Writing is for human beings.
