2024 Model 3 Performance. Whistle at 30–50 mph for 2 years. Searched everywhere — this never came up.
Driver's-side outer belt molding (the strip on top of the door against the glass). Pulled it, bent it tighter. Whistle gone.

The part that bothers me the most from the earnings is the number provided on the growth of the pipeline. It’s like their opportunity has increased dramatically but that doesn’t mean much if you can’t close the deals. It’s like you open a business in a small town and now you open another business in a large city. Well my earnings should skyrocket since there’s more opportunity. I don’t want hopium I want concrete data and deal announcements.

Tens of thousands of AIs are trading against each other. You trading against humans is an illusion. Not tomorrow, now.
In modern financial markets, a large portion of trading volume is executed by AI-driven systems competing directly against each other. Tens of thousands is not an exaggeration when you count:
1. Hedge funds running machine learning strategies
2. High-frequency trading (HFT) firms
3. Market-making algorithms
4. Execution algorithms used by banks
5. Crypto trading bots
6. Retail algorithmic traders
In US equities markets like the New York Stock Exchange and NASDAQ, algorithmic trading accounts for the majority of volume. The same is true in futures markets such as the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
What happens when AIs trade against AIs?
A few important dynamics emerge:
1. Speed becomes dominant
Many strategies compete on microseconds. In high-frequency trading, the edge may come from:
>>Colocation near exchange servers
>>Faster network routing
>>Hardware acceleration
>>Better short-term prediction models
This creates a technological arms race.
2. Edges compress rapidly
>>If one AI discovers a profitable pattern, other AIs detect and arbitrage it quickly. Alpha decays fast. Markets become more efficient but only temporarily until new inefficiencies emerge.
3. Emergent behaviors
When many automated systems interact:
>>Liquidity can vanish suddenly
>>Feedback loops can form
>>Small signals can amplify
The Flash Crash is an early example of algorithmic feedback instability.
4. Strategy convergence risk
If many models are trained on similar data using similar techniques, they may behave similarly under stress. That can increase systemic risk of correlated exits, correlated stop-loss triggers, etc.
5. It becomes a meta-game. That's why I like to say: "grow a meta perspective on the circus".
Once most participants are AIs:
>>You’re not predicting the economy.
>>You’re predicting other models.
Markets start resembling adversarial machine learning environments.
When tens of thousands of learning systems compete:
1. Do markets become ultra-efficient?
2. Or more fragile?
3. Or both?
Efficiency improves in calm regimes.
Fragility increases in extreme regimes.
We may already be in that dual state.
The role of a human trader hasn’t disappeared. It’s shifted up a level.
When thousands of models are competing at microsecond speeds, humans are no longer the fastest actors. So they’ve moved to where humans still have structural advantages.
Regime Recognition
AI models are usually trained on historical data. They struggle most when:
>>The regime changes
>>A political shock hits
>>A war breaks out
>>A central bank makes an unexpected move
>>A human can step back and say:
“The world has changed. This model’s assumptions are broken.”
For example, during crises like the Flash Crash or the early COVID market panic, discretionary human intervention often mattered.
Experienced humans are better at:
>>Narrative synthesis
>>Interpreting unprecedented events
>>Recognizing structural breaks
Strategy Innovation
Most alpha eventually decays.
Humans:
>>Invent new approaches
>>Explore new data sources
>>Decide which inefficiencies are worth pursuing
AI can optimize within a search space.
Humans expand the search space.
Sure, the AI-absolutist will say AI will learn all that too. But when, when is the question?
OH MY GOODNESS! The demand for the new $59K Cybertruck has gone absolutely CRAZY!
Delivery dates went from June to now estimating September - October. I told you guys, they are selling like hot cakes. I maxed out my referrals in just 24 hours.
Use a referral link in the comment section of this post to save $1,000 on your purchase.
As owners, we're smiling seeing this success. But I know the entire Tesla team who worked on this must feel super elated too. Well deserved. 🫶 @elonmusk@cybertruck@Tesla@tesla_na@wmorrill3
NEWS: The estimated delivery date for new $59,999 Cybertruck dual-motor AWD orders in the U.S. has changed to September-October 2026 (from June 2026), presumably due to strong demand.
