After attempting and failing general chemistry twice on account of a disability which the school has refused to accommodate for, I am proud to inform you all that it is no longer a requirement for my major
People are understandably worried about what a #Railroadstrike/lockout would do to the supply chain. What you need to understand is railroad workers are the only ones taking a stand to *save* the supply chain from the corporate greed that has destroyed the freight rail industry
I forgot to post this! I made this sweater a little while ago for my friend, @AuthorKAExcell (who is wicked smart and starting a freelance editing business. Yall should follow and support her).

As of Monday, training pay is $20/hr. Literally day one you show up, learn what a bus is, and get $20/hr. Tell anyone you know who is looking for a job
Driving with UTA is the best work environment I've ever been in. Every employee I've met so far has been insistent on me asking for help and prioritizing my health and safety.
Also, they're hiring everywhere (absolutely desperate). 17hr training and about 22hr after.
Also! I'm operating a bus but if that's not for you then they're also hiring dispatchers, paratransit, customer service, IT, maintenance, and cleaners full time and part time.
Seriously look into it if you're looking for a job in utah county, salt lake county, or ogden.

Day two of officially driving. Bus broke down. I have what used to be the water pump belt to prove it. The gas peddle straight up stopped working while approaching an intersection and we just slowly drifted through and to the side of the road. Four more hours still.
First day driving an official route and I have been told I look like a sexy librarian twice and also got a man to the hospital before his leg had to be amputated. No context needed. I didnt have any.
