I found myself falling in love with philosophy and the ideas it explores. Aristotle taught me about persuasion, critical thinking, and how to examine ideas more deeply. Later, I read Thank You for Arguing and realized it complemented Aristotleโs teachings almost perfectly.
Never everrrrrr be ashamed of having a big and/or empathetic heart. Love is an infinite source and so is kindness. What people choose to do with the energy you naturally put out shouldnโt be your concern. Be that person anyways
if love ever finds me again, may the universe let me meet someone who loves me as deep as i do. Someone who is never okay with hurting me. Someone who is loyal, kind & devoted. Someone who will never make me feel unwanted, someone who feels like home & also finds home in me.
Stop glorifying urgency. Not every dream needs to be chased in panic. Some of what is meant for you will require patience, rhythm, and a nervous system that finally feels safe enough to receive it.

This is how serious NY is taking this Finals. Elmo had to retract his statement cause the city was like you a New Yorker this ain't the time for neutral shit
i love when you read a book and you become so emotionally invested in it, and when you walk around public places after reading it you feel like youโre in this bubble by yourself, like youโre so deeply inside your mind youโre actually out of touch with reality.
You have to let yourself viscerally feel things - all of it, including the joy that makes you scared of false hope and the mourning that feels like drowning - and somehow decide that you want to move on, rather than languishing in the hollow comfort of staying the same.
I think one of the healthiest things a person can do is become easy to delight. To still stop for weird clouds and dogs wearing bandanas and the smell of garlic cooking somewhere down the street. The world already has enough cynicism. Be the person who still points at the moon.

girl with mommy issues: this wretched earth has no place for me but i am enslaved to my flesh and kin for why do i feel obligated to exist if my only purpose is to decay
