West Bengal does not merely need a new Chief Minister, it needs recovery from:
- political violence.
-border chaos.
- syndicate culture.
- normalization of fear.

And for all his flaws, Suvendu Adhikari has one quality Bengal desperately needs right now: he looks like a man willing to fight the system instead of managing it.

For years, Bengal politics became theatre: processions, slogans, street muscle, emotional blackmail and endless victimhood politics. Thanks to the above:
📉 Industry vanished.
🚨 Law and order became selective.
🛂 Borders became porous.
🧨 Political murders became “normal news.”
🚩 Identity politics replaced governance.

Adhikari at least speaks the language of administrative control, political accountability and civilizational confidence. And TBH, that matters.
Bengal cannot forever survive on poetry, nostalgia and Durga Puja lighting competitions while its economic and demographic realities change underneath it.
The state that once led India intellectually now spends half its political energy explaining why basic governance should not be called “communal.”
At some point, somebody has to stop performing politics and start governing Bengal like a serious state again.

WB needs a Chief Minister who sounds less like a protest organiser and more like someone ready to take charge of the border, the bureaucracy and the streets.
Right now, @SuvenduWB looks closest to that role.
