Cafe Resistance Bookstore & Coffee Shop, the Jacksonville business owned by Democrat U.S. Senate nominee Angie Nixon @AngieNixon, appears in Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) records dated Aug. 20, 2026, as a permanent food-service operation with a license status of “Delinquent” and “Active.”

The license expiration date is listed as June 1, 2026. By late August, the shop had been past due for roughly 11 weeks.
In Florida, a food-service establishment that continues operating after its license expires is treated as unlicensed.

“Delinquent, Active” is the state’s designation for a license that has not been renewed but has not been formally closed. Cafe Resistance, opened in 2024, functions as more than a coffee shop. It sells books, including titles restricted in some Florida schools for sexualizing children; operates a community pantry that has offered free Plan B and other supplies; and has been used for voter registration and neighborhood events.

Nixon has described the business as a community hub and a response to state book restrictions. The DBPR filing does not, by itself, show whether the shop has stopped serving food or whether a renewal is pending. It does show that the required food-service license has lapsed for nearly three months while the business remained listed as active.

Nixon won the Democrat Senate primary this month and will face Republican Sen. Ashley Moody @SenAshleyMoody in November.

As @LoomeredStrat Loomered Strategies has previously exposed, Angie Nixon has multiple serious traffic citations, she has had multiple accidents, and she drove into oncoming traffic with her daughter in the car, injuring a minor and causing thousands of dollars of damage. Angie then stiffed the hospital for the medical bills for her daughter and herself, which resulted in a lien.

🚨Recent satellite imagery suggests that the Department of War has conducted a covert dredging operation to open up a never-before-used shipping corridor through the Omani side of the Strait of Hormuz.

The corridor in question is an approximately 1,600-foot-wide waterway with a natural depth of about 93 feet, meaning that only a small amount of dredging would have been necessary to make it safe for VLCCs (Very Large Crude Carriers).

Worth noting, ships navigating this corridor remain completely outside the Iranian regime’s line of sight due to the Omani island of Jazirat Musandam and the curvature of the Earth.

FACTS:
Pennsylvania confirmed two measles-associated deaths in unvaccinated Lancaster County residents. First in the state in 35 years. First U.S. measles deaths of 2026. Cases sit around 393 to 424 across about 29 counties. About 70 hospitalizations. Kindergarten two-dose MMR is about 93.2% statewide and lower in Lancaster.

U.S. measles in 2024 was 285 cases. 2025 was already over 2,200 with three deaths. 2026 is running higher. The coverage slide started years earlier. Pennsylvania was about 96.7% in 2017.

The rubella component of MMR-II is grown on the WI-38 cell line from 1960s fetal lung tissue. No new abortions are used. AAP and CHOP say the finished shot does not contain fetal cells or tissue. Trace residual DNA from that cell line is a known manufacturing fact. “Fetal tissue in the vial” overstates the dose. “Zero historical connection” understates how it is made.

THOUGHTS:
The deaths and case counts are real. So is the 1960s cell-line origin. Both men are arguing past each other. Why pin a multi-year coverage drop only on RFK when the decline began under Biden-era COVID distrust? Why pretend the WI-38 history is a hoax instead of explaining residual DNA versus tissue? Parents need the package insert and the outbreak map, not a press-conference war.

VERDICT: MIXED. The outbreak numbers check. The “no fetal tissue” line is too clean, and blaming the multi-year vax drop only on RFK does not.

The more people who see this, the harder it is to ignore.

@EdKrassen says record numbers of U.S. service members are leaving the military over Trump’s “illegal” orders, citing Caribbean boat strikes and the bombing of schoolgirls in Iran.

FACTS:
Recruiting is not collapsing. Pentagon figures through mid-2026 show the services meeting or beating FY26 accession goals. FY25 was already the strongest recruiting year in about 15 years.

What has spiked is conscientious-objector APPLICATIONS, not confirmed mass discharges. The Center on Conscience and War says it has handled about 140 applicants since the Iran campaign began versus a typical year of about 50. The GI Rights Hotline also reported a jump in inquiries. That is interest in leaving, not proof of a record exodus.

Boat strikes: U.S. forces have hit dozens of alleged narco-boats in the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific since late 2025, with more than 200 reported killed. Legal experts dispute whether those orders are lawful. The Pentagon frames them as counter-narcotics.

Iran school: On Feb. 28 a strike hit a girls’ school in Minab. Iranian and independent tallies put the dead in the 150s, mostly children. U.S. reporting and a preliminary military review pointed to a targeting error using outdated coordinates on a former military site. A full public accounting has not been released.

THOUGHTS:
“Leaving the military in record numbers” is not the same as “more people calling a hotline.” Why skip the recruiting surge? Why treat every disputed strike as settled illegal orders? The school strike deserves a finished investigation, not a slogan. The boat campaign deserves evidence, not just videos. Which number is he actually citing?

@GuntherEagleman says anti-ICE activists are protesting the Luminary Hotel in downtown Fort Myers because federal agents are staying there, and that Florida is not a sanctuary state.

FACTS:
Local news confirms it. Videos circulated of vehicles identified as ICE at the Luminary Hotel parking lot. Unidos and the National Organization for Women in Lee County organized a rally outside the hotel. WINK News reported an “ICE Out Now” protest scheduled near the hotel the same day ICE detained a man outside a Lee Health facility.

Southwest Florida, especially Lee and Collier counties, leads the state in documented immigration encounters and arrests. Florida requires 287(g) cooperation. Fort Myers City Council approved an ICE partnership after the state attorney general threatened action. Florida is not a sanctuary state.

THOUGHTS:
Protesting a hotel because officers sleep there is pressure, not a legal argument. ICE lodging in a commercial hotel is normal for traveling federal agents. The question is whether the protest stays peaceful or becomes a campaign to deny service to law enforcement. Why target the hotel instead of the statute ICE is enforcing?

@NYCMayor says NYC swept car rental businesses, issued 56 summonses from 62 inspections, and that renting a car shouldn’t trap people in hidden fees.

FACTS:
The city’s own press release matches the numbers. DCWP inspected 62 car rental businesses between May and July 2026 and issued 56 summonses under the Consumer Protection Law. Officials call it the first citywide car rental sweep in about a decade.

Inspectors said most locations failed to post required price signs or disclose prices as required. Many also lacked a posted refund policy. City law already requires price disclosure, honoring reserved rates unless customers are told otherwise, and posting refund rules. Further enforcement is still under review.

THOUGHTS:
The inspection count checks. “Nearly all failed” is the city’s framing of its own sweep. Hidden fees at rental counters are a real consumer complaint nationwide. This is a signage-and-disclosure crackdown, not proof every company was ripping people off at the register. Why a decade between sweeps? Why lead with 56 tickets instead of how much money consumers actually got back?

@ChrisMurphyCT claims ICE was arresting parents at school bus stops in Danbury, waited until kids were on the bus so they would come home alone and terrified, and calls it “sinister.”

FACTS:
ICE conducted enforcement operations in Danbury (and nearby Connecticut cities) this week as school started. Danbury Mayor Roberto Alves said close to 50 people were detained over three days. Local reports and officials described arrests near a school, a daycare, a supermarket, and Kennedy Park day-labor spots.

Murphy and local advocates say some parents were taken after dropping children at bus stops. ICE has not released a public list of who was arrested or confirmed the exact timing tactics. Gov. Lamont stated the arrests did not appear targeted at violent criminals. Advocates claim many had no serious records. Murphy separately said “many” were here legally — that specific claim remains unverified in public reporting.

THOUGHTS:
Arresting people who are in the country illegally is ICE’s job. Timing near schools is ugly optics and can be legitimately criticized. Calling it a deliberate plan to terrorize children is an escalation that needs evidence. Why no names of the “legal” residents supposedly taken? Why frame routine enforcement as psychological warfare instead of simply demanding transparency on who was picked up and why?

Don’t let this stay buried.
