On May 9, #khadijahshah exercised her constitutionally guaranteed right to protest peacefully. She shared videos and tweets from the protest. She did not take part in any violence, nor did she encourage and condone it.
The most significant injustice in this election was the manipulation that led to Taimoor Jhagra's defeat.
A revolutionary Finance Minister with in-depth knowledge & impactful reforms such as pension restructuring, health cards, & funding diversification, his loss is a KPK loss.
So many takes distracting from the original sin... The people voted and the mandate has been stolen. Once it's restored, we can discuss how good / bad PTI's choices and governance will be.
Respect that shit or drop the sham of democracy.
Founding Chairman Imran Khan's Message from jail through his family:
I express my heartfelt gratitude to the people of Pakistan for entrusting PTI with a resounding 2/3rd majority. It was heartening to see the massive turnout. The families voting together, including women and children—truly exemplified the essence of democracy.
I would like to especially commend our Social Media for its relentless efforts to stay ahead of the curve.
I also appreciate the role of the resilient polling agents who secured form 45 in the face of harassment and threats.
As the people of Pakistan have clearly pronounced their verdict, there is a dire need for democracy and fairness in Pakistan's elections. I warn against the misadventure of forming a government with stolen votes. Such daylight robbery will not only be a disrespect to the citizens, but will also push the country’s economy further into a downward spiral.
PTI will never compromise on people’s will, and I have categorically instructed my party against engaging with any political party that has robbed people's mandate, including PPP, PMLN & MQM.
Been vocally against Gandapur as CM and I still don't think he is the right choice, but I also refuse to take criticism of him seriously from those who have glorified the perpetrators of Model Town massacre, protectors of Kasur child rapists, the guy responsible for one of the worst crackdowns on PTI supporters.
Ali Amin Gandapur is party loyalist, brave & someone who went through custodial torture but he’s definitely not professional or highly intellect to be CM, people of KP deserve better for outrightly & overwhelmingly voting for PTI
"I have informed my party that there will be no negotiations with 3 parties: PML-N, PPP, and MQM. The level of rigging witnessed in this election is unprecedented in history."

🧵 Thread on Imran Khan first media talk in prison after winning an election. 13/2/24
Why would PPP change Murad Ali Shah for another family member as CM Sindh? Awful defensive choices for important positions being made all round despite the opportunities for some democratic progress thrown up by this election.
What are Gandapur's qualifications for managing public finances, education, health, industrial dev, social dev, LGs, or any other of the governance domains needed for running a province of 40m? Or is 'police aur bureaucracy ko danda dena' the only criteria for CMship in PTI abhi?
