@POTUS "fix our immigration system" being code for doing everything Trump did except family separations.
You're convincing none of the MAGA voters, but you're doing a hell of a job convincing your voters from 2020 to not bother showing up this year.
@Aging_Scientist@ednewtonrex How is that reasonable?
Learn: gain or acquire knowledge of or skill in by study, experience, or being taught.
It is fundamentally different from learning as a program is capable of downloading information and copying that input in full or in part.
@LarAtLarian I don't feel angry about Ubi anymore, just apathetic.
2000's I preordered games
2010-15 post launch
2016-20 I only bought $40 gold editions on sale.
2021-Now: I've grown so bored of their bland games that I don't bother
Not a boycott, they chose to stop making products I want.
@believeonjesus@AnnCoulter "God can use this baby's condition for his glory"
Then how do you know that he's not using the condition to sway people away from the hateful rhetoric that you are supporting?
"Thou shalt not kill" is not followed by "unless a pregnant mother needs medical attention to live".
@ascinhiding If it makes you feel any better, no game ever really "wins". They just get picked for a trophy.
The bright side is that everyone gets to pick their own game of the year.
If you love the game, send a message to the studio/staff it'll mean more to them than arguing on X.
@CodySDax The last episode:
'We finally learned how to live together in peace and broke the cycle of organic vs machine violence!'
'Now, let's forget all that we've learned, our culture, technology, history, and the billions of lives sacrificed to reach this day!'
@JimSterling Have you tried Death Must Die?
Vampire Survivors + Hades.
It sounded too good to be true and then I lost an entire evening playing it.

@Angry_Staffer It's not misplaced, there simply isn't a sane alt choice in the next election.
Biden chose to resist calls for a ceasefire for weeks. He believed it was the right thing to do. 2/3 Americans disagreed.
I'll vote for the sane choice and primary any Dem who opposed a ceasefire.
@TechNoirUK @CultureCrave $11k/4 staff/3 months= $916.66 per month, per staff...right.
Then there's marketing, legal to address copyright protections, etc.
Not to mention that AI projects currently steal copyrighted video and audio content, setting them up for mountains of potential legal liability.
@matthewjdowd I'll vote for him, because the alternate is terrible. That's how a democracy works.
I'm not going to pretend that he doesn't make mistakes. That's how a democracy works.
Especially when he is acting assistant the wishes of 2/3 of Americans and 80% of those who voted for him.
@AlisonCybe "films for kids"
Agreed, but there are exceptions.
Episode 2 had sexual harassment and child murder.
Episode 3 had child murder, domestic abuse, and the extermination of a religion.
@MRAssociates3@ScottMendelson I've only heard positives, it's just that shows with HS age characters and plots have never interested me.
I'll probably watch a YouTube recap before watching Marvels on Disney+. Another factor for declining theater turnout, I wonder what it's Disney+ viewing numbers will be.
@jessiegender It's also worth noting that different countries have wildly different definitions of liberal and conservative (regardless of the dict definition).
For example, in the US, environmental conservation is thought of as being liberal, despite the name itself indicating otherwise.
@deAdder One doesn't have to fail for the other to prosper.
Even within "superhero" movies there are multiple genres. GOTG is a space adventure like SW (w/ daughter of the villain & roguish love interes), Antman 1-2 are heist films, Shang Chi is a martial arts film, etc.
@HawaiiDelilah The members of the House and Senate who are backing Biden, against 66% of Americans and 80% of registered Democrats, can however be safely primaried.
Not as exciting as lashing out at Biden, but it will make our reps think twice about backing a president's unpopular policies.
