ఉపముఖ్యమంత్రి పవన్ కల్యాణ్ ...... హస్తకళాకారులకు ఇచ్చిన హామీని మరుసటి రోజుకే నిలబెట్టుకున్నారు. ఏపీ హస్తకళా మహోత్సవం ప్రారంభ కార్యక్రమంలో కళాకారుల ఆరోగ్య పరిరక్షణకు చర్యలు తీసుకుంటామని...... పవన్ మాట ఇచ్చారు. దానికి అనుగుణంగా బుధవారం క్లస్టర్ల వారీగా వైద్య శిబిరాలు ఏర్పాటు చేయించారు. నరసాపురం లేస్ కళాకారులు, శ్రీకాళహస్తి కలంకారీ కళాకారులకు ప్రత్యేక పరీక్షలు చేశారు. నరసాపురంలో 105 మంది లేస్ కళాకారులకు పరీక్షలు నిర్వహించగా....... 37 మందికి కంటి సంబంధిత సమస్యలు ఉన్నట్లు నిర్ధారించారు. అందులో 16 మందికి కళ్లలో శుక్లాలు ఉన్నట్లు వైద్యులు గుర్తించారు. అవసరమైన వారికి వైద్యారోగ్య శాఖ సహకారంతో శస్త్ర చికిత్స చేయించేందుకు ఏర్పాట్లు చేస్తున్నారు. చిన్నపాటి దృష్టి దోష సమస్యలు ఉన్న 21 మందికి కళజోళ్లు ఇచ్చారు. శ్రీకాళహస్తిలో 53 మంది కలంకారీ కళాకారులకు వైద్య పరీక్షలు నిర్వహించారు. మరోవైపు హస్తకళ మహోత్సవం సందర్భంగా నరసాపురం నియోజకవర్గం పసలదీవికి చెందిన మహాలక్ష్మీ...... తనకు నేత్ర సంబధిత ఇబ్బందులు వస్తున్నాయని..... పవన్ దృష్టికి తీసుకెళ్లారు. బుధవారం మహాలక్ష్మితో పాటు అందే లక్ష్మీ అనే మరో కళాకారిణిని.... పవన్ ప్రత్యేక వాహనంలో పెదకాకానిలోని శంకర కంటి ఆసుపత్రికి తీసుకెళ్లి.... వైద్య పరీక్షలు చేయించారు. ఇద్దరికీ దృష్టి దోష సమస్యలు ఉన్నట్లు గుర్తించిన వైద్యులు... కళ్లజోళ్లు, ఐ డ్రాప్స్ , మందులు ఇచ్చారు

నిరంజన్ ఇక లేడనే వార్త నా హృదయాన్ని తీవ్రంగా కలచివేసింది.

కొద్ది రోజుల క్రితం హనుమకొండలో నిరంజన్ ఇంటికి వెళ్లి కలిసిన ఆ క్షణాలు ఇంకా నా మదిలో సజీవంగానే ఉన్నాయి. తీవ్రమైన అనారోగ్యంతో పోరాడుతూనే నా కోసం ఎదురుచూసిన ఆ చిన్నారి… నన్ను చూడగానే అతని ముఖంపై విరిసిన ఆ చిరునవ్వు… ఇవన్నీ ఎప్పటికీ మరువలేని జ్ఞాపకాలుగా నిలిచిపోతాయి.

అతని శరీరం వ్యాధితో పోరాడినా, అతని మనసు మాత్రం అపారమైన ధైర్యంతో నిలిచింది. అంతటి బాధను అనుభవిస్తూ కూడా జీవితం పట్ల అతను చూపిన ఆశ, ఆత్మవిశ్వాసం ఎంతో విలువైనవి. అలాంటి ధైర్యవంతుడైన చిన్నారి ఇంత త్వరగా మనల్ని విడిచి వెళ్లిపోవడం ఎంతో బాధాకరం.

నిరంజన్ కుటుంబ సభ్యులకు నా ప్రగాఢ సానుభూతిని తెలియజేస్తున్నాను. తీరని దుఃఖాన్ని భరించే శక్తిని భగవంతుడు వారికి ప్రసాదించాలని ప్రార్థిస్తున్నాను.

ప్రియమైన నిరంజన్… నువ్వు చూపించిన చిరునవ్వు, ధైర్యం, నువ్వు పంచిన ప్రేమ నా హృదయంలో ఎప్పటికీ నిలిచిపోతాయి. నీ ఆత్మకు శాంతి చేకూరాలని భగవంతుడిని ప్రార్థిస్తున్నాను.
