Dear @WhiteHouse, my name is Rodney Smith Jr., founder of Raising Men & Women Lawn Care Service in Huntsville, Alabama. Through our 50 Yard Challenge, over 6,000 kids across the country have signed up to mow free lawns for the elderly, disabled, veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and single parents. With America celebrating its 250th birthday this year and me also being born on July 4th, I wanted to humbly ask if a few kids from our program and myself could travel to Washington, D.C. to help mow the White House lawn for this historic celebration.
More than anything, I want these kids to see how a simple act of service something as ordinary as mowing a lawn for someone in need can lead to extraordinary places. What better lesson in community service than showing them that helping others can take them all the way to our nation’s capital? I’d also love to bring my American flag-themed mower in hopes that the President might sign it, so I can later auction it off and donate 100% of the proceeds to a nonprofit supporting veterans. It would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to highlight the importance of service, patriotism, and the impact young people can have when they choose to make a difference. 🇺🇸
@spangler75_@RazorbackBSB I said nothing about the pitching staff, I was talking of 1 pitcher’s performance.
Our lack of making a hitting adjustment of recognizing a pitcher that throws sinker balls it what creates ground balls. Of course this team isn’t good.
I said nothing that was bs.
@StuartLeonard18@RazorbackBSB Don’t watch fastballs and swing at breaking balls is a pretty easy adjustment. Teaching to hit base hits and not swinging for the fence every time you swing the bat is another.
I just literally provided you a map of the USA fiber trunk lines and that’s what you came up with? Come on. To get comms to Seattle from Chicago, it goes through Denver not Minneapolis. It’s ok not to know something, it gives you an opportunity to learn something. Study the map and a lot of questions will be answered.
@J_D_Hogg78@RaminNasibov The advancement in cooling tech is crazy. Direct to chip cooling is a crazy tech. PUE getting almost strictly to critical loads. How close can we get to 1.00?
@lesser_obstacle@RaminNasibov There are a few, but the free cooling doesn’t out way other costs. Free cooling savings don’t out weigh other costs. Network latency is more important than free cooling.
@lesser_obstacle@RaminNasibov What’s more important for data centers free cooling (which is the name of what youre pointing out) or network latency and access to fiber trunk lines?
