People were already getting fired for just posting while working or in their uniform. So can someone please tell me why they are now shocked because they are getting fired for celebrating a terrorist assassination? #WeAreCharlieKirk
@NitekryDPaul I forgot to take final photos with everything cleaned up. It's all hooked up and running though. I also wrapped the top of the batteries with a few layers of kapton tape so no one gets shocked.
Solar inverter capacity doubled and batteries were built. Two 2P16S batteries with a combined capacity of 1260Ah @ 54V. Each battery has a JK BMS rated for 200A continuous load. #Solar#Battery#DIY
@EC4TR The current array consists of 30 700W panels going into the first inverter. Plus there are 30 900W bi-facial panels soon to be deployed that will go into the 2nd inverter.
@PappaCharlie2K Not at all. Cells are LiFePO4 with a good BMS. Cells can handle a discharge rate of 1C. Therefore, each pack can tolerate 630A draw. The BMS will only allow 200A, giving a huge safety factor. Nothing gets hot.
@suyogvyawahare This is at my in-laws house. I do operate on HF while I'm staying there and the equipment along with 21kW of solar panels are surprisingly quiet.
I’ve been digging into ham radio’s future—reading, listening, even collaborating with AI to get our best guess. The big talkers, our “1 percenters,” keep saying we need to be more like gaming… but I haven’t heard solutions.
Out in the open, though, is the World Radio League. Today, I joined.
First impression? WRL looks like the future. The spot visuals alone—finally, something that isn’t an Excel spreadsheet. I’m especially curious about how N1MM+ Logger might integrate with WRL. They’re already pushing a contest-within-a-contest model, and it feels like the perfect bridge from Parks to Radiosport.
I’ve got a learning curve ahead of me, but I’m not dropping dollars yet. For now, I’m impressed—both with the platform itself and its potential. As AI keeps evolving, so does the game. And I think WRL is one to watch. 73!
