I unfortunately did not get to see any of these three while down in Virginia, though we had planned to see Hunter Mcguire's monument and his grave in Hollywood Cemetery. Virginians didn't vote for this or support this, this was voted for by Northern Virginia transplants with no connection to the land.

They need to be forced onto boats sending them back to whatever third world shitholes they come from at the point of the bayonet.

Stonewall Jackson, William “Extra Billy” Smith, and Hunter Holmes McGuire came down Friday because a Northern Virginia politician found them “embarrassing” on the walk to the civil-rights memorial. His mother’s scrapbook has nothing to do with those bronzes. If family scrapbooks are now the standard for public memory, someone in Ebbin’s native New York should explain why William Tecumseh Sherman still rides gilded over Grand Army Plaza. Sherman was a white supremacist who said two races could not live in harmony “save as master and slave,” joked about buying slaves and treated abolition as a nuisance until it served the Union war machine. That statue stays. Virginia’s do not. That is not history. That is a selective purge.

Jackson opposed secession until Virginia left the Union. For a generation after the war he was treated as an American soldier, not a cartoon villain—admired in the North as well as the South for generalship that even his enemies respected. Smith, late in the war, pushed to put Black men in the ranks and end slavery; the war ended before that turn could become policy.

In October 1905 Theodore Roosevelt stood in Capitol Square, looked at Jackson, and claimed him as national property. “Coming today by the statues of Stonewall Jackson, in the city of Lee,” the New Yorker said, “I felt what a privilege it is that I, as an American, have in claiming that you yourselves have no more right of kinship in Lee and Jackson than I have.” Nobody was more pro-Lincoln or more nationalist than Roosevelt. If the statue was American heritage to him, it did not suddenly become contraband because a lame-duck senator to divide the state.

This was a political crusade. Cheap headlines for cheaper politicians. The bill died as a standalone measure, so they stuffed the removal into the budget and called it stewardship. Schoolchildren can still read about Jackson, Smith, and McGuire. What they cannot do is see that Virginia once believed great men belonged in the open air of a capitol, not in storage until the next press release. The media will not call it what it is, because they are in on the gag: statues are history when they flatter the present, and “embarrassment” when they don’t. Ebbin got his farewell photo. Virginia lost its history. The argument got even dumber.

Watching White men dutifully contribute to the erasure of White history - the erasure of their own heritage - geuinely sickens me.

Sure, there are bigger fish to fry than rigging workers “just doing their job,” but any instance where “just doing your job” contributes to the War On White People is a chance for you to choose good over evil. Unfortunately, very few ever choose the former.

Today's removal of the statues of three Confederate heroes in Richmond was contracted out to A&A Rigging. Like seemingly everything else, A&A Rigging is owned by a private equity firm; Olympus Partners.

Private equity, of course, has been one of the most powerful forces against White people.

But regardless of how bad the people at the top are, the fact remains that every single White man on site in Richmond today had the opportunity to say no to this anti-White cultural revolution.

But every single one of them complied. They all “just did their job.”
