new york has already banned data centers. mind you this is a big city. their concern is that it consumes enormous power and it could drive up electricity cost.

the philippines is already having multiple electricity interruptions and suffering from higher electricity costs. pax silica will just make this worse for the filipinos. this is just another problem that the poor and middle class will have to shoulder!
