Today, the Africa Coffee Park and Uganda Motorcross have hosted an autocross rally at the Coffee beach in Rwashamaire, Ntungamo.

It was a spectacular scene, with drivers maneuvering coffee plantations on the shores of Lake Nyabihoko. The rally was powered by Inspire Africa's coffee cold brew drink.

The event drew thousands of fans. And yes, using coffee fields for motor rallying is another form of value addition. We must look at coffee beyond the bean.

Imagine the curiosity hosting the World Rally Championship in the coffee plantations would attract. Thousands of people who would travel from all over the world, to enjoy that coffee–rally experience.

That's how you measure value addition — with those people traveling to spend on Uganda Airlines flights, sleep in our hotels, eat in our restaurants, buy our coffee, etc. That's how you add value to Uganda.
