TOXIC Review: This shit has hit the ceiling

The second half too goes on without any proper story or connection. An overdose of KGF-style treatment with absolutely no nativity or emotional connect.

Yash is extremely stylish and his screen presence is terrific, but style alone can’t save the film. Glossy visuals, useless elevations and endless violence - but hardly anything makes you care about what’s happening.

Geetu Mohandas had a massive opportunity with Yash, a huge canvas and a strong technical team, but completely wastes it. Her obsession with style and presentation comes at the cost of basic storytelling, character development and emotional connection. The film desperately needed a coherent screenplay rather than one elevation after another. At times the fiilm appears to be retarded.

All style. Very little substance. Yash fans can give it a try.
