A young fan’s selfie turns out to be the last photo of Kobe Bryant.

On January 26, 2020, Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna were among the nine people on board the helicopter that crashed and left no survivors in Calabasas, California.

The day before, 13-year old Brady Smigiel took a blurry selfie with Kobe Bryant at the Mamba Sports Academy, obviously not knowing that he’ll take the last picture of the NBA legend.

Since the selfie turned out to be pretty blurry. Kobe told Brady,

“We’ll get a better pic tomorrow,”

But on his way to the Mamba Sports Academy, the tragedy that killed nine people occurred.

I appreciate that Cam Ward, in this day and age in CFB, played at all. But I just can’t imagine starting any game with teammates, especially as a quarterback, and electing to pull myself out while my teammates are still trying to finish the job in a back-and-forth battle.
