KFS has suspended with immediate effect a license issued to Hydro Masters Company for extraction of quarry dust from Oloolua Forest in Kajiado County following a site visit today by Ag.CCF Monica Kalenda & other Senior KFS Officials.A press statement on the same is hereby posted

It's sad seeing Mt. Kenya being destroyed by fires.
@KeForestService CCF earlier on said the fire had almost been contained in some parts of the water towers. The biggest challenge is strong winds making it hard to put out the fires.
