I just spoke to my father. He shared a moment about meeting his old friend, who served as TDP District President in Telangana and later joined BRS (TRS). He was very active in BRS (TRS). After COVID, his business was unprofitable; he lost a lot of money and later sold almost all the property he had. In December 2024 he met Chandrababu Naidu and explained his situation. He had served TDP for two decades, and Naidu promised to take responsibility for his daughter’s career. Now he has delivered on that promise, and he is really happy about what his daughter achieved after he lost everything. Naidu has nothing to gain politically by helping a politician who is irrelevant now but refused to lose his loyal supporter.

This is exactly how Naidu has stayed in politics for more than 40 years. 2019 was a done deal for Babu, but his hardcore supporters stood with him. We may not like Naidu, but we will never find another Naidu in the Telugu states. Incredible politician.
