@ak_gobang I pray she gets better real soon. I remember spending Christmas in SC pain in the hospital. I came home on the 27 and we celebrated Christmas then. It’s wasn’t the day but the time spent with family that meant the most to me. Happy Birthday to your princess 💖

@PTMcGann I don’t agree with this. It is so easy to say that chronic pain is exaggerated when one has never experienced such pain or watched their child cringe in SCD pain. Drs have a moral & ethical obligation to help their patients. This is judgmental.

@bluebirdbio I am glad that we have encouraging stories like Trey’s to read about. Having SCD is difficult, but having strong shoulders to stand on and look up to for encouragement often makes a difference.
