In Dubai, Telangana’s vision to become a 'Global Digital and Innovation Hub' was shared during a meeting with H.E. Omar Bin Sultan Al Olama garu, UAE Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy & Remote Work Applications. Landmark projects such as AI City, AI University, AI Innovation Hub and the Telangana Data Exchange (TGDeX) were showcased as drivers of transformation in healthcare, education, agriculture and governance. A proposal for a joint AI R&D Centre in Hyderabad was also put forward.

The discussions highlighted Telangana’s rise as India’s 'fourth-largest UPI economy', with digital transactions of ₹1.26 lakh crore by July 2025. Hyderabad was positioned as a strategic entry point for UAE enterprises, offering opportunities in Nano-GCCs, Digital Hubs, Future Skills Academies and deep-tech startup investments supported by Sovereign and Venture Capital funds.

Minister Al Olama garu appreciated Telangana’s initiatives and expressed readiness to collaborate in AI, cyber security, quantum computing and gaming. He also introduced the UAE’s flagship "$100 billion Stargate Project" and invited Telangana companies to the upcoming FinTech Startups Summit, marking the beginning of a stronger Telangana–UAE technology partnership.
