If you have disagreement with any of the KLP members, don't be rude and throw foul words just to defend the others. You are worse or basically the same as what you are blaming them for. Disagreement doesnt give you the right to be rude.

Just give words of encouragement and support to your bias / oshi. And that would be enough

Since I’ve been silent and holding back my views ever since this whole issue was revealed, I’m now ready to share how I truly feel about the situation.

First, to make my position clear, my biases in KLP have been Zunchan and Ann Drea since the moment they debuted in KLP.

I wish I could say that I support everyone involved in this situation. However, thinking rationally and logically, I can’t blindly support people who have done wrong and refuse to learn from their mistakes. Defending yourself by saying “this isn’t serious” or “this isn’t a big issue” already shows a lack of remorse and accountability for your actions. And I can’t stand by that.

KLP was formed with the involvement of Japanese members, which helped attract both local and international fans. When KLP started, the local members were all complete newcomers. Because of that, they should have known they still had a lot to learn, not only in singing and dancing, but also in how to carry themselves as idols, especially as Japan-based idols.

Instead, advice and warnings (reprimands) from management and Japanese members, who are their seniors and have far more experience in the industry were mocked and ridiculed. The issue was never about creating a group chat. The real issue lies in the intention behind it and the things said behind others’ backs.

The Japanese members did not deserve that disrespect or rudeness. They have worked incredibly hard for the sake of the group. They’ve shown real growth by learning three languages at once. English, Malay, and Chinese... just to communicate better with fans. Despite already having 8–10 years of industry experience, they continue to push themselves to grow.

As for the local members, I honestly see very little growth, even though they have much more room for improvement since debut. Being an idol comes with responsibility. Once you choose this path, you also choose to uphold a certain image. You cannot act freely in ways that may negatively affect the group or influence fans poorly.

There are reasons why stricter rules are placed on local members and not on the Japanese members. Because the Japanese members are already professionals who understand boundaries and how to conduct themselves publicly around fans.

Stricter rules for local members do not equal favouritism.
Putting one Japanese member at the front line is not favouritism.
Having a senior Japanese member guide you or remind you of your mistakes is not favouritism.
Giving Japanese members more activities to promote the group for the sake of the group is not favouritism.

To conclude my stance on this... I am deeply, deeply disappointed in the local members... Especially my own bias, whom I have always supported and trusted, even quietly behind the scenes where she couldn’t see. I feel both sad and angry that she hurt Zunchan (and the other Japanese members) this badly, yet treated it as “not a big deal” and showed no real remorse.
I also hate myself and feel partly at fault for trusting her words too easily, without fully considering that she was among those who put the Japanese members as well as Devi and Tiffany in a very difficult position. Now, the entire group is suffering the consequences.

As of now, I don’t know if or how I want to support KLP moving forward. For the time being, I can only wish the best for them, both the local and foreign members. I hope everyone involved can reflect, acknowledge their own mistakes, and genuinely improve in the future.

As a fan, I will also reflect on myself. I will try to take whatever good can come from this situation, let go of the bad, and not dwell on it any longer.
