Like this one which is easier than you might think!

Ingredients:

- 1 and 3/4 cups buttermilk
- 1 large egg
- 4 and 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 Tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 5 Tablespoons unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1 cup raisins or currants

Mix dry ingredients. Cut in butter. Mix in wet ingredients. Form into ball on floured surface. Score with 𝕏 and bake at 400F for about 40 minutes or until golden brown
