Heartbreaking to see the level of destruction in Gaza as friends find their homes reduced to rubble. There is nowhere to live and nowhere to go. Everything they had is gone. The ground is a graveyard
Four years ago I wrote my inaugural poem The Hill We Climb. Both when I wrote it and performed it, I did so while continuously reflecting on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr and Coretta Scott King’s legacy. I was (and am) blown away by how my words reverberated around the world; if anything, it proved to me that we honor King’s dream, by daring to dream big, and by, most importantly, daring to dream together. Only then will the loving fantasies of our better nature transform into reality. The work and fight for the dream persists, and what’s more, it is not just a fight, but fate—that perhaps we are as destined for this time as it is destined for us. What a worthwhile, powerful calling only we can answer. Here with you in the hill and the climb, and whatever light lies beyond, whatever light lies within.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Claire van Kampen today. Our thoughts are with Claire's family and friends at this time.
Co-Artistic Directors Tamara Harvey and Daniel Evans share this message:
Words are not enough to remember the visionary #DavidLynch (1946-2025), one of the authors who have most influenced contemporary art cinema: we remember him with this shot from the #BiennaleCinema2006, when he received the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement and presented #InlandEmpire.
Plans to cut audio drama from @BBCRadio3 have been labelled a “devastating loss for writers and actors alike”, with critics calling it the end of the “National Theatre of the airwaves” 👇 https://t.co/n0swn8J9kO

"An olive branch, symbol of peace, resilience, and connection to the land wraps around the figure and reaches for the sun. The phrase "We shall remain" is from the poem Here We Will Stay by Tawfiq Zayyad."
Check out @goodreads for a chance to win an early reading copy of Sour Cherry by @natalia_theodor - Rory Power calls it "a folktale, a whisper, and a dream all at once."

Thinking again this morning on how tech not only documents but alters the ontology of traditional training...
