I've had some great news today - due to the ongoing success of the first two editions of my book, 'A Guide to living with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome....' I am going to be writing a Third Edition, which will be accompanied with an 'exercise book' and be be out in early 2024!
@SDECoxHealth My spouse had covid + symptomatic last week. I had tickly throat last week, Sat 1-22-22, naseau, loss of appetite, slight cough, generally unwell. Had both Pfizer vaccines by Oct 2021. I got a covid test Sunday, covid and flu negative. Don't know what to do on going to work.
@SDECoxHealth Spouse, I had covid vaccines. His work in Springfield, staff regularly got covid past 2 yrs, they worked covid+, no one w masks, he never got it. Now he symptomatic, positive test, gave it to me now, first time I've been symptomatic, my work enforced requirements from beginning.
@BabeWithThaPowr@SDECoxHealth Two of my family members have been the last 2 years repeatedly exposed to people in their offices coming in with covid symptoms before anyone realizes and the company makes the person stay home but individuals need to be honest and not go to work or school w covid till cleared.
Too many people are too embarrassed or reluctant to celebrate themselves for who they are and what they can do. Here's why they shouldn't be so shy. https://t.co/j3MalZRaMU
Nature's Miracle - reduces tension, anxiety and chronic pain. Also aids in the treatment of insomnia and normalization of blood pressure! My neck, hands, and shoulders are no longer a source of agony for me! Just a few drops in the morning helping make my life better everyday!
Every day in 2022 those of us living in chronic pain, are in pain when we wake up and when we go to bed. Every second of every minute of every hour we are in pain. #ChronicPain has no pause button. We are always in pain. Thanks for caring and understanding.
@maggieNYT This is the dumbest thing to tweet and a news report written about. I work at a hospital and other patients on the covid unit had items and food orders brought in. It will often sit there a while though until shift changes is only time nurses can bring it.
@SDECoxHealth I work at an outlying clinic. 100 - 200 patients\visitors per day in small hallway, waiting area, clinic. Times that # of patients and visitors by the number of clinics. Not all of them vaccinated or keep a mask on properly. Employees vaccinated doesn't account for patients.
@Real_ShaneGray@SDECoxHealth We agree, I'm just making a different point than you are. It makes me mad the public roams hospitals with loose, half-way, taking masks fully off because it impossible to fully enforced, yet employees not allowed to work in that exact shared space without a covid vaccine.
@Real_ShaneGray@SDECoxHealth What matters a policy forcing workers and people loose livelihoods, going so far to tell the public it's now safer to be in our facilities, yet patients and visitors still walk around our facilities not all vaccinated, can't even keep masks on - while many lost livelihoods.
@Real_ShaneGray@SDECoxHealth I didn't say any of that did I? I'm saying it's a contradiction to force covid shots, people loose livelihoods over it, when nothing has changed with the public roaming same facility not all vaccinated who can't even keep their masks on, and also claiming, "we are safer".
@SDECoxHealth From my first day 9 years ago, you spoke at the New Employee Orientation I attended, the impression I was left with is that I always felt as though you had my back. Congrats on your retirement!
@BurrellCenter @SDECoxHealth@CoxHealth Thanks for responding. When i get a chance I will get back on direct message with my contact info. Perhaps someone at your office can call me so I can explain the experience I had.
@SDECoxHealth I don't completely understand the logic of so many patients that comment they feel safer if employees caring for them are vaccinated from covid. Having all the workers vaccinated still won't protect patients from other non vaccinated patients and non vaccinated visitors.
@Kittymo05632870@BillTAY41221961@SDECoxHealth The employees all last year, mask, and use precautions, germ x, sanitizing everything, being screened daily, patients have as good or better chance of being exposed from other patients and visitors which won't all be vaccinated, than from employees.
