This web site has so much good information about child abuse and how to help spread awareness. Take the time to look at this site. https://t.co/dgniPtShvj
@AnnetteZ_SW This is so scary! I hate to think about how many children are being abused or going hungry because they are stuck at home and can’t go to school over this.
I believe that with everything going on in today’s world I think that this mental health toolkit is very important! Please remember that your mental health is just as important as your physical health!
With May just around the corner, @MentalHealthAm is proud to announce that our #MentalHealthMonth toolkit is now available! 🎉 We always intended to focus this year on resiliency & offering #tools2thrive at any time. We now believe that they will be more useful than ever. #mhm20
@SW_Policy_401 This is something that I am getting scared of. At first I didn’t think anything of it but as it is spreading and now getting closer to my town I am scared and the people around me are not taking social distancing seriously!
@AngelClarkSW1 Yes! First responders are at great risk! But like you said what about those workers that are cleaning, but have no heath care. What will happen to them if they get sick?
@RhondaP15698905 Suicide is something that hits home with me due to my father committing suicide. I believe that the world has a mental health problem, people see mental health issues as something so wrong and because of that people don't get the proper help.
@SW_Policy_401 Wow! This is amazing! I saw something in the news yesterday about a man that owned a furniture store and let people stay in his store when it flooded!
We stand with @PsychUcommunity as we celebrate #NationalCaregiversDay. We honor those individuals who help their loved ones live better lives through their compassion and dedication to others. Are you a caregiver interested in expanding your knowledge? Download our toolkit ⬇️
@annetteSWWRC Nature vs nurture has always been so interesting to me. Have you seen the cases of twins separated at birth but grow up to be in the same line of work? So interesting!
Foster care is something that has caught my eye. I'm not sure what I want to do with it yet, work for an agency or maybe become a foster parent. This link gives good examples of how to help foster families. https://t.co/k36Eu3Nhud
@SW_Policy_401 Yes! Burnout is such a real thing. Most people don’t know what it is like to treat the same people over and over. I worked in a nursing home and I got burnt out!
I am currently working with the Health Department in my county to try and get a Needle Exchange Program. I found this web site to be rich in facts. https://t.co/ayshJtN4kq
This is something that I find interesting. I cannot believe how expensive adoption is, there are so many children out there that need homes and so many people that long for a child.

Wow! I had no idea about these statistics! I also think of foster children as babies and I know that’s not the truth, but it’s what my mind goes too! It blows my mind that the median age is 6 and a half!
In 2019, 440,000 children nationwide were in foster care. Parental opioid addiction factored this number. Another reason opioids shouldn’t be used. Why not eliminate the drugs we can? https://t.co/nqcO8idLhq #ForTheLoveOfChildren#opioidcrisis#FosterCare
@RhondaP15698905 After reading the article I found it interesting that almost 25,00 child abuse reports were likely true but could not be proven! This blows my mind, and makes me want to take in every child I can to know that they are safe!
