Remake already improved her character a lot. She showed more than once how much Tifa and the rest of the group mean to her, to the point that she risked everything just to pray for their safety

FF7 Revelation Director Hamaguchi says in an interview with PC Gamer that Zack has way more playable sections in the game with his own combat system unique to him.

He will even have a skill tree that can grow, which closely ties into the story.

He goes on to say that he hopes Zack’s appearance will make fans happy, and his story section is full of surprises 🫪
