@MadiPSteele This is a very good question as I see a lot of the "competition" mindset in the lower elementary grades. My students know that I am looking for accuracy in their work. The math games that we play, students must score a 90% or better on. This helps students focus. #wuedt6020

@emily_osterman1 Our district has a resource called "GoGaurdian", it allows me to display all student screens on the board while they are working. This helps keep them on task. We also have reward systems for those that complete their reading and math tasks. #wuedt6020

@B_Farrell9 I have not tried VR in the classroom yet. Although it sounds interesting if it is implemented correctly. As a kinder teacher, introducing new technology in the classroom is a task. Do you all students do it at the same time? How hard is it to "program" or "load"? #wuedt6020

@McaseyTR6 I have done a virtual field trip to a zoo, this was during the time of COVID so places were shut down. My students (kindergarteners) loved the field trip. Many of my students had never been to a zoo before, so this was a fun experience for them. #wuedt6020

@AdamsEmilylynn @KFranklin923 Emily, I loved when I used class dojo. Our district adopted talking points which is used district wide. Our school also shares pictures or achievements that our students are doing in school each day. I think connecting with the community is important as a school. #wuedt6020

@emily_osterman1 @KFranklin923 I think that is such a cool idea to connect to schools around the country, while setting a goal to reach all states. Social media opens up a lot of opportunities for us educators. I wonder if the teacher had to get this approved by parents first? #wuedt6020

@KFranklin923 Social media can be used in the school environment for multiple reasons. This includes sharing school updates, important announcements, and sharing positivity with the community. Our school post pictures daily of students collaborating in school for families to see. #wuedt6020

@KFranklin923 One thing I would like to implement in my classroom is more gamification for my students, while ensuring they are providing quality work. I would like to implement more Kahoots, escape rooms, and VR. I look forward to seeing how students do with it. #wuedt6020
