Great to welcome @ReportingHouse team to @RKSinStrasbourg. This remarkable project will transform our space into a living home of Kosovo’s memory, resilience & truth - a museum that honors our historic journey & the courage behind it. Looking fwd to making this vision a reality.

Honored to support the opening of renowned Kosovar contemporary artist Rron Qena’s exhibition at @CoE, alongside Ambassadors, @PACE_News MPs & friends. Grateful to Rron for sharing his stunning art with us - may we see even more of #Kosovo at the #CoE soon!
On the International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearances, we remember the 1584 people still missing in #Kosova due to the Serbian genocidal regime.
We stand with the grieving families. Justice must prevail, and Serbia must stop shielding the perpetrators.
A pleasure to finally visit @ReportingHouse in Prishtina. Their work preserving memory and confronting denial is vital for human rights, justice, and reconciliation. Kosovo’s story of survival & resilience speaks to Europe’s shared responsibility to protect truth & human dignity.
Welcome back home, Dua!
Today, by presidential decree, I had the honor of granting the citizenship of the Republic of Kosovo to one of the most iconic cultural figures in our country’s history, @DUALIPA.
Dua and Kosovo have always been inseparable. From the world’s biggest stages to the hearts of millions, she’s carried our story with strength, pride, and grace. She’s pushed boundaries, made history, and reminded the world that greatness begins with knowing who you are and where you come from.
Our gratitude is endless for everything Dua has done, and continues to do for Kosovo.
The @sunnyhill2025 Festival is the story of a dream brought to life.
A dream born out of love for this country, transformed into one of the most inspiring events that places Kosovo at the very heart of the global cultural stage.
Through music, passion, and the energy of our youth, Kosovo is shining – showing the world that even from a small country, extraordinary things can emerge.
Thank you, @DUALIPA, for making your dream a shared one for all of us. And thank you to the entire Sunny Hill team for turning that dream into reality year after year — bringing the world to the heart of Kosovo. 🇽🇰

Here are some photos from our “KBP” (as we call it!) in Strasbourg, with Council of Europe and diplomatic colleagues!

Today in Strasbourg, I had the honor to stand with survivors of wartime sexual violence as "Thinking of You" by 🇽🇰 Alketa Xhafa-Mripa was unveiled. Each dress tells a story the world must hear. Survivors are not forgotten - their courage demands justice, not silence.
At the inauguration we heard moving testimonies from survivors-voices of pain, strength,& unwavering dignity. As FM @gervallaschwarz said: You did not choose to be warriors, but your strength to stand here, to be seen & heard, breaks the walls of silence that once imprisoned you.
As "Thinking of You" filled the heart of Strasbourg yesterday, voices from survivors in Kosovo and around the world echoed through this city of human rights - a stark reminder that too many perpetrators still walk free, and that justice delayed is justice denied.
Happening now: Alketa Xhafa Mripa installs "Thinking of You" in the heart of #Strasbourg, on Rue des Hallebardes where so many pass by. Dresses are again rising into the clear blue sky, screaming the unspeakable, stopping strangers in their tracks, and refusing to be silenced.
"Thinking of You" by 🇽🇰 artist Alketa Xhafa Mripa, honoring victims of sexual violence in wartime, will be inaugurated today in #Strasbourg. Gisèle Pelicot has also donated a dress to the installation - a powerful gesture of remembrance and solidarity.

Next to the 46 flags of the @Coe member states, skirts and dresses symbolising the victims of sexual violence in conflicts and wars are waving in front of the Palais of Europe. By "thinking of them", by showing their pride, we break the silence they suffer and the guilt they feel
