A beautiful amalgam of all my experiences , formerly a wildlife and conservation biologist , currently an art based therapist and psychological counselor.
I have written to @CMOMaharashtra Devendra Fadnavis ji, requesting his personal intervention in the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar animal shelter case.
I have urged him to not only ban and act against the NGO but to put the monsters who tortured the strays through similar punishment!
This is routine ! I am from Pune , beaten and attacked at a feeding point allocation meeting in the presence of PMC and spca officers. Police shrugged it off as a “kutta -billi” matter . Every dog I feed is sterilised, vaccinated, dewormed, flea medicated and friendly.
THIS IS RICH coming from judges who have been passing sarcastic comments since Day 1 of this suo motu case! 🤡⚖️
From Day 1, it’s been nothing but mockery and sarcasm and now suddenly the court wants everyone else to be “circumspect”?? 🙃
Even stalwarts like Kapil Sibal have faced their sarcasm… but the court is offended by Menaka Gandhi’s body language?? Seriously?? 😑
So let’s be clear:
✅ Women feeders being harassed, assaulted and abused in public : DISCARDED 🤐
❌ A comment that suggests judges are wrong : deeply hurt 😡
Is this justice? Or is this plain misogyny on full display? 👇
Because the court had no sensitivity for women being attacked… but has all the sensitivity in the world when its own image is questioned.
When women are attacked: silence. 🤐
When judges are questioned: outrage. 😡
If this is how justice is being “overseen”, people have every right to question it.

Wen the judges of the highest court of the country decide to make a mockery out of the sensible arguments, the nation loses its respect. Passing irrational comments & being sarcastic doesn't suit public servants,Mr. Vikram Nath & Mr. Sandeep Mehta. The nation expects better frm u
@kartik_chau@ANI Street hopping ?? Never heard that , I do a lot of street hopping to buy groceries or get my vehicle serviced or sometimes I “hop” just like that . Do not have any permit for it either as last I knew it was allowed to go to any area and use all streets.
I think Vikram Nath & Sandeep Mehta should still be lawyers because they keep advocating rather than playing the role of a judge. Well they ain't "Justice" to me. "Take dogs home, hold caretakers responsible," only an uninformed, uneducated & a biased person could speak like that
#WATCH | Delhi | On Supreme Court's Suo Moto case on stray dogs, Advocate Divyam Khera says, "The Supreme Court is taking note of the fact that, scientifically, the ABC rules were created by the Parliament, by the government. The Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act is a central government law. These rules fall under the ABC rules... We want the court to take note that the feeders are essentially doing the work of the municipalities. They feed the animals from their own pockets. They don't receive any funding... No feeder wants the number of dogs on the road to increase. If a dog gets injured on the road, these feeders pay for their treatment from their own pockets. India is the fourth largest economy in the world, but it's very shameful that there isn't a single 24/7 functional veterinary clinic in Delhi... In smaller cities, there are no veterinary hospitals at all..."
@LiveLawIndia Just the silent majority who decided to speak up, show up in support of science, facts, logic, to enable better governance & administration.
Animals have the support of logical compassionate Indian citizens.

@LiveLawIndia Will you actually hear us milords ? Or will the courts unfairly keep collecting the unconstitutional extra money from us to simply be heard and then deny us our voices ?
@savioursofstray @ndmcscl@indSupremeCourt I have been alotted a similar one in Pune , 1 km outside of the territory of dogs, next to a garbage sorting area , flooded in the 6 months of Pune rains , live wires , snakes. It’s not safe for me to go there , leave alone any for any community animal.
It's now viral — Watch !
Man : She loves us so much
Man : She doesn't want food or money but love !
Man : They tell us to keep a breed dog but she is Desi (Indian)
Man : We love her and she protects us too

This is a series on how humans and dogs coexist in India—quietly, daily, and across every section of society.
While a small but loud fringe spreads fear and misinformation, India’s land and culture have always recognised a deeper truth: life here is interconnected. Compassion is not an import; it is instinctive to this place.
The current surge of hostility toward community dogs is a momentary distortion—out of step with both science and our own history. It will pass. What endures are evidence, ethics, and empathy.
There is no justification for culling or relocating dogs. Population control works only through CNVR/ABC, universal vaccination, responsible adoption, and an end to unregulated breeding and selling.
This is not ideology. It is science.
And science, paired with kindness, has always been on the right side of history.
