@SupremeGREAM This is the thing, the original house was built to be the only tall building. It’s either everyone can build them (and you create the accommodation for your neighbor to build it) or nobody can. You cannot build a house that infringes on another’s property rights.

The tippers etc are careless but given that it’s a blind curve with bumps that speed just doesn’t compute. It could have been anything.

@kinjeketile @denniskioko If we make it less painful to live outside the city - land pressure goes away. However we aren’t. In Karen they blocked the railway. Cost of land will go up and inevitably apartments will come up.

@kinjeketile @denniskioko Ideally the government can acquire the land. That’s the purpose of taxes. This is why planning should be done early for any towns that hit 100k+ in population. This refusal to deal with Kitengela / Kiambu traffic etc is why we have beacon to beacon in Nairobi.
