Whose Side Is CM Shivakumar and the Congress Government On?

The Railway Board's decision to bring Mangaluru under the Mysuru Division of South Western Railway is long overdue, a demand Karnataka has pressed for over two decades while coastal Karnataka's revenue propped up a division that gave nothing back in return. On this historic decision, not a single statement has been made by the CM welcoming it. This begs the question: whose side are he and his government really on?

Now that Kerala CM @vdsatheesan has written to the Central Government asking for reconsideration, will CM @DKShivakumar speak in favour of the people of Karnataka? If DK Shivakumar cannot hold this line on a decision already notified, already justified, and already delayed by twenty years, it raises the real question of who he is actually working for, the people of Karnataka or the Kerala lobby that controls Congress?

I urge CM DK Shivakumar to immediately and unequivocally state Karnataka government’s full support for the decision.

Mr. @RahulGandhi , the people of India have rejected the Congress under your leadership in three consecutive general elections: 2014, 2019, and 2024. Across national and state contests, your party has suffered 99 electoral defeats during the two decades you have remained at the centre of its politics. Such a record should produce introspection, not arrogance.

The leader you mock secured three consecutive mandates as Chief Minister of Gujarat and three successive terms as the Prime Minister, each backed by a decisive mandate. @narendramodi Ji has also received 35 international state and civilian honours from countries across continents. That is how public trust and global respect are earned.

Reducing serious diplomatic relationships and a woman Prime Minister to juvenile innuendo is neither wit nor political criticism. It is immature, deplorable, and wholly unbecoming of the Leader of the Opposition.

India needs an Opposition that presents its ideas and policies with dignity, not one that resorts to cheap taunts and playground humour. Your laughter cannot conceal your lack of judgment. The people have rejected your politics repeatedly. Continue with this arrogance and immaturity, and the next verdict will be even more crushing.

Does Rahul Gandhi think the people of our state are 'idiots'?

For two months now, CM @DKShivakumar, former CM @siddaramaiah, and KPCC President B.K. Hariprasad have been standing outside his door with a list of MLAs they want made ministers. Every day they are sent back and told to ‘come tomorrow’. The people of Karnataka watching this are asking whether these leaders were elected to govern the state, or to stand like Three Idiots outside the @INCIndia high command's door?

When the people's chosen leaders are made to wait outside a private residence like this, what should the people of Karnataka understand from this? They elected these leaders to govern Karnataka, not to warm the doorstep of Rahul Gandhi's house. This is an insult to every Kannadiga.

What kind of leaders have these turned out to be? They walked around claiming massive public support, boasting that they won on their own strength. And yet look at them now: standing with folded hands before the Nehru family's scion, shoulders hunched, a forced smile on their face, a file clutched to their chest, waiting outside his door. It is genuinely disheartening to watch the First Citizen of our state reduced to guarding somebody else's doorstep.

Here in Karnataka, the rooms of Vidhana Soudha have been waiting for Ministers. But the ministerial aspirants are stuck waiting at your doorstep in Delhi, Rahul Gandhi. Even the blank line on that cabinet list must be tired of waiting for a name by now. The Chief Minister keeps flying to Delhi, only to knock on a door that won't open. Perhaps it's time the Congress high command remembered that Karnataka voted for a government, not for a waiting room outside 10, Janpath.

ಬೃಹತ್ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಿರುವ ಹಗರಣವನ್ನು ಸಿಐಡಿ ತನಿಖೆಗೆ ಕೊಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಬಾಯಿಗೆ ತುಪ್ಪ ಸವರುವ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು @INCKarnataka ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಬಹಿರಂಗವಾಗಿ ಒಂದು ಹುದ್ದೆಗೆ 80 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂ. ಲಂಚ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಾಧಾರಗಳೂ ಇವೆ.

ದೂರು ದಾಖಲಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಳಂಬ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವು ದಾಖಲೆಗಳಿದ್ದರೂ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಳಂಬ ನೀತಿ ಅನುಸರಿಸಿರುವುದು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಬೀದಿಗಿಳಿದು ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹೋರಾಟ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸುಮಾರು 400 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ಗಳ ಅವ್ಯವಹಾರ ನಡೆದಿದೆ ಎನ್ನುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇರೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳು ಬೇಕಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಇದರ ಹಿಂದೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕುಳಗಳ ಕೈವಾಡ ಇರುವ ಎಲ್ಲ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆಗಳಿವೆ.

KPSC ಕ್ಲಿನ್ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಹರಕೆ ಹೊತ್ತಿರುವ ಸನ್ಮಾನ್ಯ @PriyankKharge ಅವರೇ, ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಕೈವಾಡ ಇಲ್ಲ, ನಾವು ಸತ್ಯ ಹರಿಶ್ಚಂದ್ರ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ನೀವು ಹಾಗೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಕ್ಷದವರು ಸಿಬಿಐ ತನಿಖೆಗೆ ಕೊಡಲು ನಿಮಗೆ ಅಂಜಿಕೆ ಏಕೆ?

ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನೇರವಾಗಿ ಕೆಲವು ದಲ್ಲಾಳಿಗಳು ಫೋನ್ ಮಾಡಿ ಲಂಚಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಡಿಕೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅರ್ಹ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಹತೆವುಳ್ಳ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳು ಸಿಗಬೇಕು. 400 ಕೋಟಿಗೂ ಬೃಹತ್ ಹಗರಣ ಆಗಿರುವ ಇದು, ಸಿಐಡಿ ತನಿಖೆ ನಡೆದರೆ ತನಿಖೆ ಹಳ್ಳ ಹಿಡಿಯುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆಗಳಿವೆ.

ನಿಮಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಒದಗಿಸಬೇಕು ಎನ್ನುವ ಇರಾದೆ ಇದ್ದರೆ, ನಿಮಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸ ಇದ್ದರೆ, ಕೂಡಲೇ ಸಿಬಿಐ ತನಿಖೆಗೆ ನೀಡಿ..

ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ "ಕೇಸ್ ವಾಪಸಿ" ಅಭಿಯಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಹೈಕೋರ್ಟ್ ತಡೆ ನೀಡಿದೆ. ಕಲಬುರಗಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಆಳಂದ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಲಾಡ್ಲೆ ಮಶಾಕ್ ದರ್ಗಾ ಗಲಭೆ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ಸೇರಿ ಕೆಲವು ಕೋಮುಗಲಭೆ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವು ರಾಜಕಾರಣಿಗಳ ವಿರುದ್ಧದ 52 ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳನ್ನು ವಾಪಸ್ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡ 2026 ಮೇ 27ರ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ತೀರ್ಮಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಹೈಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಮಧ್ಯಂತರ ತಡೆ ನೀಡಿರುವುದು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಆದ ಕಪಾಳಮೋಕ್ಷ. ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯದ ಈ ತೀರ್ಮಾನವನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. @INCKarnataka @DKShivakumar
