Gen Saleh issues a letter on matters involving Counsel Erias Lukwago, Dr Besigye, and Hajji Obeid Lutale!
How I wish it would solve the life-threatening impacts against the trio!
We are in a quagmire
UNPOPULAR, BUT FACTUAL!
After watching him on @ntvuganda with @Sudhirntv, and @nbstv with @CanaryMugume, I have not an iota of doubt left in my mind: Tabs is part of Uganda's Intelligence services, who was deployed/planted in @NUP_Ug to spy on President @HEBobiwine and his key political compatriots therein.
Tabs, who was chased out of @nbstv after fellow workers like Remy Bahati, at the time, over their fears about his close working relations with General Kale Kayihura, the IGP at the time, became clever by half when he gave a self-incriminating account in an attempt to further hoodwink the public.
The five days he was kept 'incommunicado', might become a problem for the party and the country at large.
In fact, I heard him make mention(s) that it is President @HEBobiwine himself who supplies him with the information he uses in his work which is akin to linking the president, just like Chairman Nyanzi did when he surrendered names of all those that were on the parade.
It was not a suprise to me when the day came today with NMG media group stations (@ntvuganda, @DembeFm, @933kfm, @DailyMonitor, Spark TV), and more which have been the party's major media allies, have been switched off by the General, overnight.
Bannange, temugamba nti ssabagamba...
@Namutyaba1
But the same party leaders had turned all political parties which were in IPOD before the amandment of the law, into their punching bag. Always told people that IPOD is just a club of taxpayers' money thieves and that IPOD meetings were just for taking tea. Comrade @LubegaRuth20204, what changed?
It is my thinking that the renewal of @linazed2 mandate to lead @NUP_Ug will not permit the party to join IPOD where the leaders solely die to join to earn taxpayers' money.
The Political Parties and Organizations' Act, as amended, speaks of the President of the political party, not the acting president of the party, which Mama Zedriga is.
@DavidLRubongoya, do not make our party to be mocked for many people will start accusing it of a money-making venture for its leaders, as other political parties, which our president @HEBobiwine said were in IPOD for money, and legitimizing the Museveni regime.
Sente za IPOD tuzireke tetujja kufa.

Flashback: When Dr. @kizzabesigye1 was abducted from Nairobi to be brought back to Uganda to be dumped in prison for over 500 days now, and still counting, the spokespersons of our @NUP_Ug went public, affirming that Besigye was in a ploy with regime to regain political sympathy.
Why, because it was a season to do blackmail politics.
Lukwago and Company who are themselves the victims of toxic politics largely played by most of our leaders, time and again, pleaded with our leaders to embrace joint force against the regime, but he was never listened to until the end of the electoral cycle.
Now, Lukwago who has been Besigye's lease of life amid strugling to see him freed, is also added onto his client, our party leaders are everywhere sympathizing with him!
If this is not grandstanding, and or hypocrisy, then those terms changed the meaning.
What the Joel-led opposition did yesterday was a typical example of Complying with the regime and at the same time, pretending to be against it.
As I said recently, the new version of @NUP_Ug worries me, and should as well worry anybody especially those seeking change.
Woe to those putting all their hopes on opposition politicians who are now POLITRICK stars!
Mr. President @HEBobiwine, bewatulekera kati babivaako dda, balya bicepere Kololo...
But this new version of @NUP_Ug worries me so much.
It should as well worry anybody else, at least those interested in causing change in this, our nation.
I can comfortably say, it is a group of comformists thriving on sophisticated pretense.
Listen to me if you want, don't if you do not want.
I am back to my work...
Well, now that this @HonKatabaazi was denied the party ticket after genuinelly having the party and it's leadership at heart, let him be.
This guy like @NUP_Ug not just by words, but he even spent his monies in every party activities.
Look, when the party asked for Shs10M off the grant grant to facilitate the president, he gave.
When the party made the MPs' monthly subscription fee Shs1m, he gave it up to the last day of his existence in Parliament.
When foot soldiers liked money, he gave them.
When people were making pledges regarding looking after prisoners and killed foot soldiers, he dug deep into his pocket to pay fees for one of comrade Frank Ssenteza's relative who was ranover by a military vehicle.
When MPs' Allan Ssewanyana and the late Muhammad Ssegirinya needed someone to stand them surety, Katabaazi did not hestate even when others were all playing safe.
Lastly, when the the party organised fundraisers, Katabaazi always heeded including the last one where he had to borrow up to 10M as his contribution on top of mobilizing his constituents to supplement the amount in effort to enable president look for votes.
The point is that supporters and leadership of the party should learn to let people be by giving them room to make decisions because no party is a prison.
But most fundamentally, I have never heard Katabaazi make an announcement that he has crossed to PLU.
Just to say, I'm feeling for our colleagues who are in prison(s) up to this date.
An opposition regime which can agree to work with the ruling regime, but cannot negotiate their release, just formed a government to operate as business as usual.
Sorry comrade @AMufumbiro
Sorry comrade @MuwangaMKivumbi
Sorry comrade @eddie_mutwe
Etc
In my own, and unpopular opinion, today marks the end of prentence about speaking sarcastic words aimed at furthering the usual grandstanding political style our @NUP_Ug largely chose to play.
I mean, with the appointment of the Leader of Opposition and the shadow cabinet, it is now official, NUP leadershi has conscripted every member of the opposition to believe that the regime is in power for the next five years.
In other words, it is business as USUAL politics going by the celebrations made by varied personalities upon being part of the shadow cabinet. The rest would be nothing but sheer politricks.

Afande Tabs, I find what I can call misfiring on these, especially on positions allotted to Basalirwa, and Afoyochan.
In Parliament, there is nothing like Permament secretary or assistant permanent secretary per Article 87 (2) of the Constitution and Section 9 (1) of the Administration of Parliament Act.
Kindly, correct the contents of the post so all your important posts reserve their credibility.
I beg to submit. Thanks.
Soon youβll see Anita Amongβs recommendation letters for the following jobs at parliament
1. Mathias Mpuuga-Director Human Resource
2. β Asuman Basalirwa-Parliamentary Permanent Secretary
3. β Esther Afoyochan-Assistant Parliamentary Permanent Secretary

She is among the few hardworking and legitimate young leaders at our @NUP_Ug party. She was in all battles with the president throughout the last five years.
I like her for being bold to speak the truth however much it pains many blind followers within the party just like me.
Kudos comrade @Sylvia_Namutyab.
Do not allow to be intimidated.
