I stood with family, friends and fellow leaders to condole with my dear friend and sister, Council of Governors CEO Mary Mwiti, on the passing of her beloved mother, the late Mama Josephine Kagwiria Guantai, whose life was defined by faith, love and selflessness.

Alongside colleague Governors and other national leaders, we extend our sincere condolences during this difficult time. Fare thee well Mama Josephine; your love, kindness and devotion will remain your greatest legacy, forever cherished by all who knew you. #RIP

Development thrives where infrastructure exists. In Public Works, we have:
• Since 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟳, graded 𝟳,𝟭𝟱𝟭.𝟱𝗸𝗺 and gravelled 𝟮,𝟮𝟲𝟱.𝟱𝗸𝗺 of roads across all sub-counties.
• Allocated Ksh 𝟮𝟴𝟭𝗠 this FY to maintain and upgrade an additional 𝟵𝟰𝟲𝗸𝗺 of feeder roads.
• Laid 𝟭𝟭𝟴,𝟱𝟱𝟬 sqm of cabro and upgraded drainage systems in our seven major towns, transforming urban spaces.
• Designed and supervised key county facilities in-house, including Kerugoya Level 5 and Kianyaga and Kimbimbi Level 4 Hospitals, saving significantly on implementation costs.
• In partnership with the national government, rolled out affordable housing projects in Kianyaga, Kerugoya, Sagana, and Wang’uru.
