@SarahMcQueen27@ChrisGPackham That literally isn't their problem though - they have no powers to seize animals unless the police ask them to, and a lost dog with no ID is the responsibility of the council dog warden, unfortunately. Well done for picking the dog up though, before it had an accident!
@MrOBrien17@BBCBreaking Loving all the maths teachers coming out with their spreadsheets and charts ๐คฃ I calculated there was a 10% rise for G4 from last year to this year. This wouldn't be an acceptable rise in grading in any other sphere.
@16CSYKES@BBCBreaking I'm really sorry they have done this to you (and many others.) You worked hard, you earned a 4, it is disgusting. I hope you have the opportunity to take a resit in November and that the grade boundaries are more normal at that point. Good luck!
@1stclassmaths@AQA Or indeed 2 grades difference for the same raw score. I would say, having compared the grade boundaries for maths for all of the reformed GCSEs (2017 onwards) that most years are comparable. 2023 is the leap!
@1stclassmaths@AQA I know the method used but I think it's disgraceful that they can fluctuate so much. The awarding organisations should just make their papers comparable difficulty each year! To have such a marked jump is not fair on candidates - even if the paper was 'easier'.
@LibbySquires96 @fesshole Teachers are not allowed to invigilate their own subjects, but are allowed to invigilate for other subjects (according to JCQ and the ICE guidelines.) They have to have training annually and there are strict protocols to follow but in short, teachers can and do invigilate.
@nmclean77@Only9built That's literally not the highway code though. Left signal for first exit, right signal for last exit, 'intermediary' exits no signal and left lane until you've passed the previous exit. THEN signal left and take the exit.
@fluffyollie@fesshole I read it that they provided additional practice in the hard topics to help prepare students for the exam - but perhaps the Easter hols have chilled me out and made me too generous.
@Shellys_Wellie @Ceebee96447343 @ChrisGPackham@RSPCA_official There is NO excuse for beating a horse like this, none. I don't care how long you've been there, how many methods you've tried, or how desperately you want to be the next Big Thing in eventing. No excuse.
@VictoriaCoren My daughter got confused and called them chicken lumps; I blame my husband who called them 'duck knobs' for years, truly believing it was a Nottingham thing. I had to use Google to prove him wrong #embarrassing
