I know I’m a bit late to posting, but I’m absolutely thrilled to share that I’ve received the #NIHLRP from @NINDSfunding. A special thank you to my post doctoral mentor @KVRamachandran5 whose unwavering support and commitment to research inspires me every day!
Excited to share that I have received the Alzheimer's Association Research Fellowship (AARF-D)
@alzassociation. I want to thank my post-doctoral mentor @KVRamachandran5 for all of his support and I look forward to the discoveries we will make. #ENDALZ
What a semester to say the least. I successfully defended my dissertation. My two papers are now fully published. A paper that I am a second author is now under revisions. And I am presenting @ASCBiology right before I transition to my postdoc position.
Lastly, we got great feedback on our paper on RNA localization during mitosis that is currently under revisions, but check out the preprint: https://t.co/6TdAyjUNEd
Check our recent submission where we observed the localization of RNAs at the mitotic spindle. We purpose that this may be an evolutionary conserved mechanism to allow for proper cell division. This would not have been possible without Carrie and Jia! https://t.co/eK2Sil7IUT
RNA localization to the mitotic spindle regulated by kinesin-1 and dynein is essential for early development of the sea urchin embryo https://t.co/mQxkqk6Nzd #bioRxiv

You can win one of my 2022 Calendars filled with 12 of my paintings. All you have to is: follow me and retweet this post until Sunday! 🍀🍀
The Giveaway is open worldwide, shipping is on me. Not sponsored by anyone but me 🙃
I am thrilled that my paper is finally out in the world. Thank you to Dr. Jia Song my mentor and the @UDelaware biology department for their support. My paper follows miR-124 role throughout specification, differentiation, and maturation of neurons using sea urchin as a model.
I am presenting tomorrow at my first #SfN during the "Mechanisms of Cell Fate" poster session from 10:30-11:30 AM EST. Come learn about microRNA-124 dual role to not only modulate neurogenesis but also mesodermal immune cell development. @SfNtweets#SfN21#NSPeeps#NeuroScholars
