The world can feel dark and uncaring.
We can make it better by doing our part to add light to it.
Be kind, caring, and compassionate to everyone around you.
Especially those who don't show it back.
Be the change you want to see in the world.
I made the mistake of starting to play Honkai Star Rail, and I'm loving it.
Such a great turn-based RPG, looks gorgeous, fantastic music, stellar characters and engaging story
I've had this conversation with a lot of people lately, so I'd like to say it here too:
Every workplace has some kind of bullshit, the trick is finding a workplace with the kind of bullshit you're okay dealing with.

Since Pinkertons are trending today, I just want everyone to know my great aunts parents had to shoot their way out of a Pinkerton slave labor camp in 1921.
You don't have to feel bad about hating a Pinkerton, they will literally enslave you.
UBI critics: If we give people money without conditions, people will stop working.
UBI pilot: Turns out the UBI group worked more than the control group.
UBI critics: Well of course giving people more money works. But it costs too much.
UBI pilot: Turns out the money spent on UBI reduced other costs greater than the UBI.
UBI critics: Yeah but people will stop working.
Hey TTRPG/Game Design Twitter.
How do you feel about attack rolls in TTRPG games, rolling to hit is fun, but is it better than always hitting and simply dealing damage?
Would a system of damage dealing and reduction work well in a TTRPG, instead of rolling to hit?
@symatt I think it's fine as long as it's not excessive.
It's especially okay when one or more people are new to the system as there are bound to be questions
Kalishir: "Are you going to get me a Ferrari for my birthday so I can have a mid-life crisis?"
Sinaea: "I can't afford a Ferrari. I'll get you a mistress instead."
Kalishir: "Pretty sure a mistress would cost more than a Ferrari."
Happy 40th birthday, @Kalishir ❤️
I don't think they've been on screen (def not enough to get a sense of who they are) but Esmeralda Weatherwax and Gytha Ogg from the Discworld series fit the bill.
