Magpas Air Ambulance is available to be called to the most seriously ill and injured patients across the region 24/7, 365 days a year.
Last year, the Magpas Air Ambulance medical team spent 1,731 hours in total responding to incidents.
Of all the patients they treated in cardiac arrest last year, 68% of them had been given bystander CPR prior to the emergency team’s arrival—something we are working hard to increase through our community CPR and defibrillator training sessions.

As well as a pilot, there's always a technical crew member (TCM) who flies in the cockpit of our air ambulance helicopter. The TCM assists with navigation and on-board computer systems, as well as looking out for dangers both in the air and on the ground.
Thanks to your support, the Magpas Air Ambulance team responded to 161 emergencies in and around the East of England last month.
It's only thanks to your generous support that we can continue to provide people with critical care 24/7.
With you, we save lives.
Your support today ensures our team can be there for patients tomorrow.
As a thank you for your support, we've produced some Magpas Air Ambulance colouring sheets for you and your families to enjoy. Just print at home: https://t.co/FlP5LetJwD

After dark some air ambulances continue to fly with the support of night-vision goggles. 🌙
The goggles increase ambient light, which allows the crew to see landing sites and identify any potential hazards. 🥽

Magpas Air Ambulance Doctor Pragya and Critical Care Paramedic Nick are here to care for the region until 7 am now… And they’ve already been called out on their first mission of the night.
At the start of every shift, our aircrew talk through any air activity happening throughout the day.
Today, however, as we all know, there’s something a little different to watch... Fortunately, the Santa tracker is on hand to help as the team closely monitors Santa’s journey!

This #ThankYouThursday, we want to extend our thanks to @BlueBearStorage which, while we were in the midst of our move, very kindly gave us free storage facilities in Huntingdon.
This community kindness saved us funds, which will go towards saving lives. Thank you, Blue Bear!
On my journey home from the @FPHCEd conference I listened to this podcast featuring a story of medical rescue. The narrator described @timnutbeam as “ a complete badass and a true hero”. I agree! 🙌🏻 Have a listen… https://t.co/aTwrYWo0Zn
