The problem with legacy politics is that it has convinced people that when “your tribesman” is in government, you are automatically benefiting. That is a dangerous illusion.

Take Suba South. We are repeatedly told that this is where “money sleeps.” But look at the roads. Look at the infrastructure. Look at the reality facing ordinary residents.

Development is not inherited through tribe. It is delivered through accountable leadership.

Your tribesman occupying a powerful office means very little if the people still drive through impassable roads, struggle to access essential services and live with infrastructure that does not match the resources supposedly flowing into the area.

Yesterday, I met an influential MP from Nyanza & he told me that pro-Government MPs are awash with money from political brokerage & tenders bribes. But that sadly, nearly all the Billions are hoarded in the MPs or banks with weak regulatory controls. The only silver lining is weekend Harambees now raise millions. None of the MPs is running any company that employs people or generates more wealth. It is a sad indictment of our patronage political system & weak anti-corruption controls. The rich entitled Kenyan elite bandits attended a wedding in Kilgoris yesterday. They wore tailored suits, flew in helicopters and drove in multimillion shilling vehicles. They danced, sang, ate well, and belched, mostly at the public expense.

But PHYSICALLY locked out by a barbed wire fence and kept at bay by heavily armed ferocious military and police officers were thousands of villagers and other Kenyans, who spent the entire day in the sun, hungry—and whom the bandits spoke to via mounted loud speakers across the fence.

I shuddered at the images and symbolism of the majority of a sovereign people living in squalor and treated like slaves by their Nyang’au Bandits.

STOP HARASSING KENYANS, MR. RUTO

China is known as the factory of the world because it produces REPLICA goods like no other country in the world. Chinese factories and WORKERS produce everything—from Gucci to the iPhone to the Mercedes Benz—or products which look like them.

In 2010 when I visited China, I bought an iPhone which lasted exactly 6 months before it extinguished in my hands. The MASSIVE Chinese economy is fuelled, in large part, by the “manufacture”, sale and export of those REPLICA goods. Those goods pump hundreds of billions of dollars into the Chinese economy. They create employment, wealth and improve the conditions of life for the Chinese.

But I have never heard or read that the watchful and meticulous Chinese government has raided the factories (purportedly working with the Interpol) which produce those goods, confiscated those goods from factories and shops and/or arrested the Chinese business men and women earning livelihoods from selling or trading in them.

In North America, Asia and Europe, it’s those Chinese REPLICAS which are sold—openly and legally—in DOLLAR STORES and numerous outlets across the planet.

Why? Because the Chinese and other governments in Europe, Asia and North America (I don’t know about the state of the MARKET in Central and South America) UNDERSTAND that they exist to SERVE the INTERESTS of their people—not of any other foreign or local company or entity.

But in Kenya where youth unemployment exceeds 80% and growing; where the economy collapsed due to massive plunder, mismanagement and neglect decades ago; and where almost everyone lid barely surviving, the ROGUE Ruto regime is RAIDING shops, destroying and confiscating goods and harassing hard working Kenyans struggling to survive under the pretext of “fighting counterfeit goods.”

Those are the same ROGUES who live flashy lifestyles and show off in expensive Gucci clothes, multi million shilling watches and shoes amidst the widespread SQUALOR they are responsible for as they make multiple trips abroad pretending to be employment agencies for foreign companies, including those producing REPLICAS.

I’m not encouraging copyright and patent infringements. All I am saying is that the Kenya government must serve Kenyans and stop excelling only in anti-people activities—from plunder, to the illegal importation of Ebola to harassing Kenyans struggling under the economic mess they created and preside over.

Kenyans don’t have factories, ships and the logistics to produce and distribute REPLICAS. If American and European companies want to crack down on the manufacture and sale of replicas, let them go to the source—China!

Criticizing government decisions is not hatred for Kenya, and questioning leaders is not disrespect to the country. A democracy cannot survive if every opposing voice is branded “bitter” or “dangerous.”

Hosting international leaders is good for Kenya’s image, but it does not erase the concerns millions of Kenyans have about the economy, taxes, unemployment, corruption, and governance. Leadership is not a worship contest where citizens must clap at everything.

And by the way, disagreeing with President Macron or the UN Secretary-General does not make someone anti-Kenya. Strong nations engage global powers confidently, not blindly.

Kenya belongs to all of us supporters, critics, and neutrals alike.

The debt Moi handed to Kibaki: 600 billion.

600 billion in 40 years.

The debt Kibaki handed Uhuru: 1.8 trillion.

Kibaki borrowed 1.2 trillion in 10 years.

The debt Uhuru handed Ruto: 8.5 trillion.

Uhuru borrowed 7.3 trillion in 10 years!

Legally, Uhuru was allowed to borrow only 2 trillion, but he borrowed an extra 5.3 trillion ILLEGALLY.

By the time Uhuru left, we had paid 7 trillion according to an independent and verifiable forensic audit.

We paid the legal 2 trillion, and also paid Uhuru's illegal debt of 5 trillion.

Therefore, our balance was 1.5 trillion in 2022.

However, the debt has continued to skyrocket, rising from 8.5 trillion to 12 trillion.

This begs the question, who is pocketing our money?

Why is the parliament not summoning Uhuru to explain this blatant constitutional violation?

Why is Ruto not being put to task by parliament on why he continues to abet this illegal repayment?

Why are we paying a debt that doesn't exist?

Today, for every 100 shillings we collect as revenue, 96 shillings is repaying this debt.

A debt that doesn't exist, builds nothing, and gives zero return on investment.

We are only left with 4 shillings to pay civil servants, run the government, and build infrastructure.

We are in chains.

Our children deserve to be told the truth.

We can't hand the country to them that is in debt, in shambles and in chains.

This madness must stop!

Gladys Shollei is pushing a dangerous amendment, and Kenyans should pay attention.

Yesterday, during a debate on the Public Participation Bill, she proposed removing a key safeguard: the requirement to publish public participation outcomes.

Right now, Section 12(2) requires that once public participation is done, the results be made public, for example, on a website, so citizens can see what Kenyans actually said.

Her proposal? Remove it completely or
Keep that information private.
If you want it, you must apply to the same authority that collected it.

Let me be honest, we already know how this ends.

We have been requesting NHIF, Housing levy, and capitation data for over 6 months. Letters sent to MOH and MOE. No response. Total silence. We are now heading to court soon.

Now imagine this:

A bad bill is rejected by Kenyans during public participation.
The authority then claims: “Kenyans supported it.”

How do you verify?
You write to them, and they ignore you.
That’s the trap.

This amendment would legalize secrecy and make it impossible to hold the government accountable.
Public participation without transparency is just a rubber stamp.

MPs must reject this amendment.

Kenyans deserve a public portal where participation outcomes are visible, verifiable, and permanent.

Enough hiding.
