Unpopular opinion: SBI is way better than many private banks when it comes to branch service. 👀

Went to SBI to apply for a Visa Platinum Debit Card.

I walked in expecting the classic "Come after lunch." 😅

Instead...

• Needed to update my address.
• Apply for a new debit card.
• Unblock Internet Banking.

I expected three different forms.
They handed me just one form and completed all three requests.

Didn't carry a photocopy of my Aadhaar.
No problem. They took Original, made a copy instantly.

My account's home branch is in another state, so I was expecting another hurdle.

Their response?
"No problem, we can update the address."

The entire experience was smooth, the staff were welcoming, and everything was handled without any unnecessary back and forth.

Never thought I'd say this, but in this case, the "sarkari bank" experience was better than what I've had at several private banks.

Also, I don't think I've ever received a promotional call from SBI. That's another pleasant surprise.
