I was reading India of My Dreams, and I came across a line where Gandhi speaks about “de-Indianizing our education.”

It hit me, because I’ve often used the opposite idea i.e Indianization. We have this unique ability that whatever comes to our land, we make it our own. We Indianize food, we Indianize religions, we even Indianize ideologies like communism and socialism.

But reading that line I paused for a sec..

Because while we are so good at Indianizing what is foreign, we are quietly de-Indianizing what is our own… our languages, our cultural systems, our education… what not.

Maybe that’s the irony. I wouldn’t call it a balance, because we have far more to lose.

It’s quite repetitive and honestly a bit tiring to see @RaoKavitha launching a party in Telangana. Though she speaks about Congress government failures, her primary focus seems to be targeting BRS leadership…whether it’s KCR or KTR.

The same thing happened with @realyssharmila. Her political moves came in the backdrop of internal family conflicts, whether over property or influence within the YSR family. When that conflict arose, the internal clash spilled into the political domain, and I think that’s the larger problem here.

It’s quite obvious that these individuals are projecting their family conflicts as a public cause. Despite speaking about governance, people, and accountability, the underlying trigger is absolutely personal, not political.

And the unfortunate part is that the public ends up becoming a tool in private power struggles.

This is exactly why dynastic politics should end. Politics cannot become a means to settle personal scores or secure what one couldn’t within the family.

I’m tired of these half-baked arguments. Amaravati is being judged as if it were an organically evolving city, when it is a planned capital created out of immediate administrative necessity. Governance infrastructure cannot “grow over time” it has to exist upfront for the state to function.

Capital investment is not meant to generate immediate revenue. It creates the conditions for long-term growth…economic activity, land value, and institutional efficiency. Phasing is sensible, but under-building at the foundational stage only leads to higher costs, inefficiencies, and permanent structural limitations.

Borrowing for infrastructure is standard global practice because these are enabling assets, not standalone profit centers. Amaravati is not trying to replicate how cities like Bengaluru or Chennai evolved. It follows a globally established model of planned capital creation.

What is dismissed as “excess” today is often investment in scalability and future readiness. The real question is not whether to build cautiously, but whether to build adequately for the next 50–100 years in this rapidly growing world.

Whenever I read Gandhi, I’m struck by the purity of his thought and the naivety within it. But at the same time, he could see the better angels of our human nature. So he could walk the talk, live it, and prove it. Maybe, from his perspective, it wasn’t naive. Perhaps it appears so only because of our inability to be that pure, or because we have normalized selfishness and greed so deeply that anything higher now feels naive.

What’s happening in Thiruppankundram is a textbook example of pseudo-secular governance.

Thiruppankundram, one of the six sacred abodes of Lord Subramanya, holds enormous spiritual value for Hindus. Yes, there is a dargah on the adjacent peak, but that does not erase the hill’s fundamental identity as ‘Subramanya sthalam.’

I understand that the ‘Karthika Deepam’ has not been lit at Deepathoon for over a century, but traditionally, that is exactly where the lamp is meant to be lit. And the Madras High Court has confirmed this, stating that Deepathoon lies on temple-owned land, that lighting the Deepam there causes no communal disturbance, and emphasizing that it does not infringe Muslim rights. But not lighting it there definitely weakens the temple’s practical claim to the hill and opens the door for fresh encroachment attempts.

Despite this clear order, to light the Deepam at Deepathoon and to ensure police protection! the State Government and HR&CE refused to execute it, citing “law and order concerns.”

I want to assert that law and order cannot be used as an excuse to defy a High Court directive.

This is nothing but appeasement politics at the cost of Hindu sentiments and judicial authority.

And I genuinely do not see any logical reason why lighting a once-a-year Deepam on temple land should create communal conflict. If conflict arises, it is only because of unfair expectations and political motivations that contradict history, legal decrees, and the Court���s own findings.

The hill belongs to Lord Subramanya. It is a Hindu sacred space, and Hindus have every right to expect that their traditions and festivals be respected.

Our Founding Fathers created a tool, our Constitution, to make ‘India, that is Bharat’ a land of opportunity. Very few nations that gained independence around the same time have managed to keep their constitutions intact. Many of our peer countries scrapped their constitutions, rewrote them multiple times, or fell under military coups and martial law.

This did not happen in India because our Constitution was not the work of one man or a small drafting committee. It was the collective product of the entire Constituent Assembly which had 300+ members. They debated on all the articles for almost 3 years. If they hadn’t made it so strong, India would have easily met the same fate as many other newly independent nations. The credit goes to every single member of that Assembly.

What we urgently need today is constitutional morality. As Dr. B.R. Ambedkar warned, constitutional morality is not a natural instinct, it must be cultivated. Many citizens still have to truly understand the value of the Constitution.

And we must remember: the Constitution is a living instrument. It is meant to serve a living people. Its interpretation must be rooted in the context, realities, and challenges of the time in which it is being applied. Without that understanding, we fail both the letter and the spirit of our constitutional democracy.

I humbly thank PM Shri @narendramodi ji for designating 26th November as Samvidhan Divas, the day on which the Constituent Assembly adopted the final draft of our Constitution in 1949.

It has been 162 years since Abraham Lincoln delivered the Gettysburg Address!!
a speech barely 270 words long, astonishingly short, yet profoundly impactful on the history of mankind. Even after all these years, we still talk about it.

Lincoln took the democratic ideal articulated by ‘Theodore Parker’ and engraved it into history, giving those words an eternal life.

Through Lincoln, the phrase “government of the people, by the people, and for the people” became the most powerful statement of free government ever spoken.

My observation:
In the last three weeks, BJP strategically shifted its campaign in Delhi from attacking AAP’s corruption to highlighting failures in civic governance, roads, water supply, garbage clearance, and offering middle-class tax benefits, showcasing its strategic approach.

AAP, on the other hand, expected strong support from women and the poor, but this didn’t materialize. Welfare schemes alone couldn’t overcome the growing perception of non-performance.

In our Andhra Pradesh, YSRCP also heavily relied on women and poor voters but lost because of dissatisfaction with its governance, lack of clarity, and failure to deliver developmental progress.

Welfare promises aren’t enough, people expect better governance and a clear vision. This is a lesson for all parties.

With victories in Haryana, Maharashtra, and now Delhi, BJP will be looking forward to the upcoming Bihar elections later this year.

Hypocrisy exists everywhere, whether in life or politics, and none of us are entirely free from it. What matters is having clarity about the compromises we make and being honest with ourselves. Acknowledging this strengthens our understanding of the choices we make and the principles we stand by.

Now, let me be clear: my leader is Pawan Kalyan. My unwavering support for him is not because he is a film star but because I see him as a leader with exposure, compassion, and strong ideological clarity. He prioritizes people, progress, and integrity, and he isn’t driven by vote-bank politics. I understand his decisions and align with his vision for a better society. You may disagree with me or have different thoughts about Pawan Kalyan, and that is perfectly fine. We all have individual perspectives, which is the essence of living in a diverse society.

My support for the NDA (TDP and BJP) stems solely from Pawan Kalyan’s decision to align with them. If Pawan Kalyan has chosen them as allies, I trust his judgment.

Hypothetically, if Pawan Kalyan were not involved in politics and I had to choose between TDP and YSRCP with no other alternatives, my choice would still be TDP. While I acknowledge TDP’s flaws and that many of its politicians are far from ideal, its leadership demonstrates clarity and vision for development, which YSRCP lacks.

YSRCP, under Jagan Mohan Reddy, feels fundamentally exploitative to me. His leadership appears feudalistic and authoritarian. While YSRCP claims to be welfare-oriented, I believe its schemes are more about consolidating vote banks than genuinely uplifting the poor or minorities. Despite TDP’s shortcomings, it remains the comparatively better choice when forced to decide between the two.

At the national level, my thought process is similar. While I am ideologically centrist, I would choose BJP over Congress. Congress does lean liberal and is closer to centrist ideology in certain aspects, but I find its leadership weak, lacking vision, and engaging in Darbari politics. It has also made India appear weaker on the global stage. In contrast, BJP, despite its flaws, including the mistreatment of minorities, offers clarity, direction, and strength. The NDA under BJP is far better than the INDI Alliance, which I find directionless and incoherent.

So, this is how I think. In a democratic system, we are often forced to choose between imperfect options; that’s how democracy works. You weigh your priorities and make decisions based on what aligns even marginally better with your values. My choices are guided by a meter that evaluates vision, clarity, and strength.

Every word I speak or tweet results from deep introspection and careful thought. It doesn’t come from loose or impulsive ideas but from reflecting intensely on my thoughts and beliefs. I ensure that my statements are grounded in reason and logic, satisfying my own thought process and perspective. This is how I approach my opinions in politics.
