Taxi services like Uber/Ola are not following app fares & demanding extra money. Drivers misbehave and even threaten passengers.

People going to airport/railway station are forced to pay due to urgency.

I can empathize with the pain our IT community and residents living in Hinjawadi are facing due to poor urban planning. The recent monsoon spell made things even worse. Hinjawadi is adjacent to Pimpri Chinchwad, and for the sustainable development of our city, we must consider nearby areas like Hinjawadi, Chakan, and Talegaon in urban planning and transportation.

Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, as part of its Climate Resilience initiative, is working aggressively on Mobility, Metro, Streetscapes, Air Pollution, and Waste Management, making it a competent authority to address the issues in Hinjawadi. I will try to raise the voices of IT professionals in my capacity with the concerned government authorities.

Below extracts from my Bhosari Vision 2024 document, reflecting what all IT professionals want from the government.

📌 Industrial Zones: Our city is undergoing a transformation. As leaders, we must envision the city's future for the next 30 years. My focus will be on:
🔸 Preparing an Industrial Vision for the Next 30 Years: We will develop a comprehensive vision for the industrial growth of Pimpri-Chinchwad over the next four decades.
🔸 Integrating Industrial Areas: Industries in Chakan, Hinjawadi, and Talegaon MIDC are flourishing. We will explore options to bring these areas under PCMC's jurisdiction for better civic facility management. If this is not feasible, we will advocate for declaring these areas as Industrial Municipal Corporations, with a special focus on economic development, job creation, worker welfare, and efficient commuting.
🔸 Enhancing Connectivity: We will work to ensure that employees and workers residing in Pimpri-Chinchwad and Pune can reach these industrial zones within 30 to 45 minutes, utilizing various modes of transportation like Metro, PMPML, Share rickshaw.
