I was privileged to speak at this conference yesterday and to spend the rest of the day learning from the brilliant @dave_barron20, the fantastic #expertsbyexperience who presented, the inspirational senior leadership team who spoke and stayed for the whole day and the almost 300 fantastic #socialworkers, family practitioners and other training and support staff who shared their wisdom and knowledge so openly and helpfully. The energy in the room was so positive and mutually supportive and there was huge passion for learning and developing the best possible service for children and families . It was brilliantly organised and led, right down to ensuring there was lots of lovely food (incredible chips!) and cake! Thank you so much @SocialWorkDevon for including me.

Today marks the beginning of a series of seven full-day training conferences, each designed to enhance our practice based on the Pillars of Practice. The focus of today's conference is purposeful visits, a topic that directly impacts our daily work.
